My and a couple of the kids from SkillsUSA went and walked around while others were in competition and I have to say I really liked it.

Fun time for family. Cool to get all the way on top and also take self-guided tours all over the ship. The 3D movie was included in the admission price but our movie time we were assigned was 2+ hrs after we got there and we weren't there that long. We had 4 little kids and we were ready to... More

We highly recommend visiting The Lex. It's a fun experience and you can't get much closer to the past than walking around on a piece of US history! Be advised there are many steep ladders to climb up and down (they are trying to raise money to put an elevator in) and there are some narrow pathways. If you are... More

Walking distance from the hotel. Beautiful old aircraft carrier and lots of stuff to see and experience. Had a great time.

This is one of those attractions that lives up to the hype. We were there for three hours and were still not able to see every single exhibit. Would definitely go back again some day.

Really enjoyed touring this aircraft carrier. Highly recommended. Plan on 3 hours to really enjoy all the history. Narrow stairways in some areas, however the majority of the ship is accessible without the stairs. Many great people volunteering and ask them questions, they love to help you learn about this great ship and many others.

We have visited the USS Lexington several times and each time we learn something new. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It's a lot of walking and steep steps and ladders. But well worth it. I think there may be an elevator to get to the flight deck. We didn't use it. So I'm not 100% sure. It definitely takes... More

Loved this; very interesting and just a huge amount of historical information is given. You can definitely get lost in all of the exhibits so make sure that you follow the signage. The upper deck is worth the long walk to the ship!

Called in at the museum and really enjoyed it. Saw all the exhibits and got a real feel for the place it was once upon a time. Gave great insight into both naval and airforce working lives. Really enjoyed the pearl harbour exhibits and was educational. Would recommend

Couldn't go aboard on our last trip to Corpus Christi so I was really looking forward to this trip. The sun came out as we hit town (after 6 days of on and off rain) and we went aboard. Awesome. The shuttle up the ramp is handy. Walking into the hanger deck is great. Lots of WW2 planes and displays... More
