Its a well structured museum with sections clearly marked & illustrated. Had a lot of fun on the upper deck.

My husband and I like to visit retired ships of the area. This tour was somewhat similar to the others. I felt the 3d movie about the aircraft training and the video about the ship was very interesting. I would recommend this attraction.

If you have kids this is good way to spend part of a day. They have a theater and snack bar on board as well as several air craft.

Outstanding museum. Hot; not all areas are air conditioned. Wear shorts, and sneakers. Any other footwear other than sneakers will be miserable. Parking is $3.50; buy a parking token at the same time you buy your admission ticket. Plan on spending 3 hrs minimum, 4 hours or more if there are crowds. Volunteers are great. Lunch is available on board.

Husband had been stationed on the USS Hancock in the early 60's and wanted to tour the Lexington, since it was so similar to his ship. We picked a very HOT Sept. day, and the tour was so hot and muggy. Note, all those rooms downstairs do not have a/c -- only one or two. Be prepared to climb some... More

Although there were a TON of steep stairways, if you can call them that, my family had a very good time. I would suggest this so much for the elderly that need help with mobility, but there are quiet a bit of activities that it isn't needed. You'll just miss some of the more interesting areas to explore. They are... More

Lex is beautifully restored and maintained, and now has an elevator from the hangar deck up to the flight deck. The tours go all through the ship, and the aircraft and ship model display room is world class! It is best to go in the morning before the heat, and there are a lot of stairs. If you can handle...
