My husband and I have come here twice! We love exploring the Lexington. It's one of our favorite things to do in Corpus!

Don't tour this WWII aircraft carrier unless you have three or four hours available. The sheer size of this amazing WWII survivor (although small by modern aircraft carrier designs) means climbing lots of stairs. We would have liked to spend a lot more time than the 2-1/2 hours we had allotted. We didn't have time to explore any of the... More

Decided to stop by while visiting family. Took me 5 hours to go through. Worth every penny. Thats one mark off my bucket list. Wish we could had seen more of the ship as we dont have things like that in canada. Great day. Only thing I didnt care for was the flight simulator. Its a flight ride not a... More

It's worth the visit and is quite affordable. We ended up spending about 3 hours there because the ship is so large and there is so much to do. If you enjoy military history, or just military in general, check it out.

It was amazing to be on an actual Navy ship and see all the different parts. What was not so great was that you had to climb a lot of ladders to get to most of it. Narrow ladders and a lot of them. We went in the dead of summer, so it was hot. There were some air conditioned... More

While on vacation we decided to "squeeze" this in. So glad we did. My whole family felt as if this one of the highlights of our trip. My father and grandfather were in the Navy and I just did not truly respect what life was like for them while on a ship until now! It opened my eyes to the... More

On our way home from our trip to Port Aransas we decided to stop in Corpus to visit the Lexington. We are so glad we did. We found it very interesting and spent hours there. This pit stop caused us to get home a day later than we anticipated. It was well worth the delay. I highly recommend visiting.

My experience on the USS Lexington was a great one. We spent the day looking the whole ship. It was very educational and a experience I would try all over again. It is a challenging experience going up and down some stairs but it made it all seems real. Just plan on making it a whole day. They have a... More

lots of stairs for someone with bad knees but I managed to see most of it. It is a ship and it is what it is.
