We had a nice afternoon, both on the deck and down below. The planes on the deck are a good variety to spend plenty of time with. The views are very nice from the deck too, so bring your camera. It can be hot, windy, and sunny on the deck, so bring a hat. It's not terribly hot though. They... More

What a great place to visit! The "Lex" is used as Navy Museum including history of not only the "LEX" but also many other US Navy ships. Many memorials and tributes of past ships and the men who served on them. This is a walking, self guided tour. For those who may find it difficult to maneuver ships stairways and... More

You have to see this magnificant peace of history. I discovered the vessel from bottom all the way up. I was more than impressed. Go for this!

It was a wonderful way to learn about how our navy service people live their daily life at sea. My father was a sailor and worked in the engine room. It was fascinating to learn about. Also, they have a nice display of various aircraft on the deck. I loved everything about it.

the uss lex is a corpus christi landmark and the biggest draw, if you ask me... continuously improving and changing things up, i have seen the changes over the years with each visit. it would be nice if they opened up other parts of the ship though. not for really small children as there is some climbing up ladders, although... Husband was in the Navy and was so excited to go here. Me - not so much...but once we were on the ship - OH MY. What an experience! It is huge - but then when you get on deck and realize how small it is with planes landing...it was amazing. We watch the feature movie - which was very... More

I spent 3 hours and didn't see everything. Very engaging exhibits for all ages. Loved climbing through the ship for the self-guided tours. A must.

I would highly recommend this attraction when visiting Corpus. We took the kids ages ranging 6-19, and every single one of them enjoyed it. I will say that we took the tour, starting about 11am, it was already so hot and humid! Once inside, the hangar deck was still very hot, as was the flight deck up top of course.... More
