We toured the USS Lexington with our 2 grandkids ages 11 & 12, and had a 3 hour blue-chip outing on the "Blue Ghost". The entry fee is $13.95/adult, $11.95/senior and $8.95/children, but their website has a $1 off coupon for each person in your party and the experience is certainly worth the price of admission. The stately aircraft carrier... More

Great piece of history, amazing how huge the ship is and all the aircrafts it can store! A lot of things to see, I wish there were a tour guide to give a little history on the ship instead of trying to read. Some parts of the vessel got a bit too hot, but it was worth the experience.

There's so much to see here - it's a great experience for those who are deeply interested in WW2 & U.S. Naval history. Wear comfortable shoes - see the flight deck exhibits early to avoid the heat - and prepare to spend the day learning. If that sounds appealing to you - this is your 5-star attraction for the Corpus... More

We really enjoyed touring the USS Lexington, they really have a lot of neat things on board to see. Our kids really enjoyed getting to see what it would be like to live on an aircraft carrier. I wish we could have stayed to camp over night. I see for a small fee you can do that, who can say... More

Was a little disappointed in the film they showed as we thought it would have more history. Also, I wish you were able to access the whole ship.

Went early in the day before the heat took over. Really liked the well marked self led tours. Spent about 3 hours on board, and only got through about 2/3rds of the ship. Lots of interesting facts and able to explore on your own. If I could prepare anyone for anything that could be improved, it would be the lack... More

The USS Lexington is a great way to see what an aircraft carrier can do and a great look at our nations naval history. The Lexington offers four different tours and give visitors a great understanding what live on the ship was like. If there is a drawback it would be the flight deck and several areas on the ship... My daughter and I visited the USS Lexington on July 18. We arrived at 9:00 am, and we were really glad that we did because it was very special to tour the ship when there was hardly anyone there. It was all really interesting. Be warned that the engine room tour can make you feel pretty claustrophobic if you have... More

Beware you have to climb a lot stairs and summer in TX makes it a hot climb. Our group of 2 grandkids enjoyed the upper deck with all the planes and breeze. This was our 2nd trip and I would make it a morning visit since it gets hotter the longer you are there.

This is such an awesome piece of history! My husband, child and I spent 5 hours looking through all the cool different tours. Definitely worth the money that was spent! I would recommend getting there early in the morning like we did so that the heat doesn't get the best of anyone!
