Whether you are an ex-military, history buff, aircraft enthusist, or sea vessel expert, there is something for everyone. They do have limited food and it is expensive, but they also have the ability to house overnight guests as a group, like scouts, to give them a feel of the way it was on a ship in WWII. They have a... More

If you've never been on a aircraft carrier (I haven't) or are a airplane, navy or history buff, this is a pretty enjoyable few hours. It's BIG. And the sleeping quarters are SMALL. Take the ferry from Harrison's Landing (for $3 round trip) and you get a nice 15 minute trip each way on the bay. Nice views of the... More

This was an impressive self-guided tour, with a mix of airplanes on the flight deck, exhibits and actual living areas in the ship. We toured the Lexington 5 years ago and wanted to go back. This second trip was wonderful with all the improvements but it is hard to see every thing so am looking forward to another in a couple of years.

wonderfully restored WWII carrier. A must see for families and adults visiting Corpus. Be prepared for confined spaces and lots of walking.

Awesome thing to do with young kids 6 and up. It's interesting to hear the history and everything that you get to see. I would go do it all over again.

Oh my goodness this was very nice. The employees gave you so many history facts and tidbits. From the planes on the flight deck to the galley, this ship had been well maintained. You had signage everywhere to enable you to visit nearly the whole ship. They had a pow/mia memorial in a lower deck and it was very well done.... More
