What a great way to honor veterans! We sure did learn a lot about the workings of a battleship. We listened to a narration from a volunteer which was very informative. There is a great parking area and shuttle service. There are a lot of videos at various locations to explain the ship actions. You can also buy lunch on board.... More

I liked touring the air force one ship, climbing up the steep narrow stairs, looking at the very small bunk beds our troops slept on, just reminds me of what all of our veterans have gone through to defend our nation and our liberties and I thank God in Christ Jesus name for their service!

This is history, but you better be in shape to be able to view the entire ship. Good experience and it is nice to have veterans on the ship to explain things in more details to you.

Words don't do this piece of history justice. Lots of walking. The flight simulator was great but don't eat first. Amazing to see and imagine this boat in action.

Very interesting for all ages. Plenty to do. Not really recommended for handicapped or wheelchair bound. Lots of steps.

Very interesting and informative. There are five separate self led tours and an IMAX theater which we did in about 3 hours. We could have lingered longer, read more and watched another show. Wear walking shoes because there is a lot of walking up and down ladders. I logged 13k steps that day! Bring your camera as there are many... More

No matter how many times I have gone to the "Lady Lex" since it was anchored at Corpus Christi it is always fantastic!!! Everyone visiting the area needs to spend a few hours at this historic landmark.

Very interesting. Fair amount of walking and some stairs but you don't have to go those places if you choose not to. Hot during the summer hours on the flight deck. Comfortable other places.
