I liked the location of the museum, so close to the Aquarium. It was very warm the day we were there and there was not a lot of air conditioning. I was amazed at how much my young children enjoyed exploring the museum, especially the airplanes! It is very family friendly, but without the little shuttle to get you up... More

We had been at a beach on nearby Padre Island when I noticed my 13 year old was just interested in shells. Since it was 95 degrees out and I was sufficiently cooked, we split off from the rest of the group and went to the USS Lexington. It was easy to get to and next the aquarium. We had... More

Visited with our 10 year old granddaughter. We all learned a great deal about what it's like to be on such a large warship. It was amazing to tour all the decks and see how a warship such as this is constructed!! A warning - going up and down all the steps and ladders can be tough for older people... More

I loved this tour. There are so many activities to do and will make the time fly by. We showed up to the USA lexington 2 hours before closing and ran out of time due to the amount of activities and photo ops. Plan on being there for 3 hours if you love anything WWII related.

We toured the USS Lexington with our 2 grandkids ages 11 & 12, and had a 3 hour blue-chip outing on the "Blue Ghost". The entry fee is $13.95/adult, $11.95/senior and $8.95/children, but their website has a $1 off coupon for each person in your party and the experience is certainly worth the price of admission. The stately aircraft carrier... More

Great piece of history, amazing how huge the ship is and all the aircrafts it can store! A lot of things to see, I wish there were a tour guide to give a little history on the ship instead of trying to read. Some parts of the vessel got a bit too hot, but it was worth the experience.

There's so much to see here - it's a great experience for those who are deeply interested in WW2 & U.S. Naval history. Wear comfortable shoes - see the flight deck exhibits early to avoid the heat - and prepare to spend the day learning. If that sounds appealing to you - this is your 5-star attraction for the Corpus... More

We really enjoyed touring the USS Lexington, they really have a lot of neat things on board to see. Our kids really enjoyed getting to see what it would be like to live on an aircraft carrier. I wish we could have stayed to camp over night. I see for a small fee you can do that, who can say... More
