The price was a bit high (I'm very thankful my son is young enough to get in free!) but the displays were awesome and I absolutely LOVED the jellyfish areas! Son loved the dolphins, especially the room that is alongside the tank so you could see them swimming by. I didn't realize the water park was included in the price... More

We have been to several aquariums including Chicago's Shedd Aquarium. The Texas State Aquarium is a great small aquarium and well worth the visit. As others have said it is a little pricey. That aside we really enjoyed the exhibits and shows. The are many hands on exhibits which are great for people of all ages. There is also an... More

Being used to large city aquariums, I didn't know what to expect when we went with our granddaughter last month. We found it very pleasant and educational. Because it was very hot (95F) we didn't go outside but my son told me that it is nice outside as well.

Lots to see and do......ideal for kids. Lots of live shows and food. Kinda pricey so look for a coupon but it was lots of fun.

All the exhibits were great! The Dolphin show was well worth the trip. Even saw a wild dolphin in the water near the aquarium. Well kept up and clean. Friendly staff, answered a question about a wild crab we saw on the seashore.

To start, please know this aquarium is not huge. With that said, my kids always have a blast here. They always want to watch the dolphin and wildlife shows, and when its hot a visit to the splash pad is a must! There are several ponds with different animals to see and an inside walkthrough with several species to view.... More

The walk through the grounds into the facility is beautiful. The staff is pleasant. But after seeing the Aquarium in New Orleans and other places, our Texas State Aquarium left me disappointed. Though I liked to watch the dolphins underwater in the viewing room, I hate to see these special creatures made to do tricks. Hated the show. Thank God... More

GO see the dolphin show..but make sure you sit down 20-25 min before the show begins..or you'll be standing.... Splash Zone a plus during the hot days!!! Cute trainers... More

My kids loved it but I believe it is not enough there for the price. They have a nice splash pad for the kids too.
