The charms of this little city fade fast. May be worth a day visit or a night out, but is not worth spending time and money here beyond that. Streets are busy and crowded at night. Service and food at restaurants were mediocre and not worth the price tag. If you are from out of town, take advantage of the... More

My husband and I visited National Harbor on 2 different Saturdays in July. On both occasions the weather was perfect. There were several restaurants to choose from and almost all of them had outdoor seating. Plenty of options for dessert - Ben & Jerry's, Pinkberry, Cupcake Love, a chocolatier, an old fashioned ice cream stand, kettle corn, the Peeps Candy... More

I just returned from a stay at the Gaylord at National Harbor. The developed area is limited to just a few blocks, but what has been built so far is very very nice. There are already some housing opportunities in the area with houses and condos, and a number of hotels and eating establishments. But it does feel incomplete so... More

This development is very beautiful and well maintained. At night I observed city staff vacuuming and mopping the streets. There are several stores, restaurants, and venues that are very unique. I dressed in business casual and I definitely felt underdressed. This is a very tres chiq town.

We were on a car trip and spent a few days in the DC area (a few nights in Alexandria, a day in Annapolis, then National Harbor). We enjoyed taking the ferry over to DC. We were treated well at the Wyndham. Nice Gaylord a Hotel with gardens. There were some nice restaurants. End of pluses. Nothing charming. A Ferris... More

We visited National Harbor, staying at the Gaylord for a conference. The area is clean and there is plenty of shopping, but be warned that everything is really expensive. National Harbor isn't on the Metro, so people who stay here are captive unless they have a car. Round trip to Alexandria by taxi was about $30, and by boat was... More

We love going to the summer concerts, dinner, or just walking around for the afternoon/evening. A great way to get an urban vibe without going all the way into DC.

Area is clean for an urban area, there are many great places to stay, or eat as well as shop. The Wyndham is a great place to stay, there are many places, with great food. Everyone we met was friendly and pleasant to interact with.

Should you get the opportunity, please visit the National Harbour. There are things there to excite the young and old alike. There is shopping galore, a farmer's market, a carousel and the new Harbour Wheel.
