beautiful view of the river and loved the quietness, probably due to the rain but it was light. Great view of the town and the restaurants around the harbor.

The company I work for selected National Harbor MD as the destination for our Christmas party this year. Being that my wife and I had never been too nor heard of National Harbor we were looking forward to the experience. We arrived 12/12/14 for an overnight stay at the Westin. National Harbor is tucked away from the hustle of the... More

The National Harbor is a great place to visit with your family!! I take my family there three to four times a year. It's one of mt kid's favorite places to hangout. They have a big play area with sand . The National Harbor has beautiful views of the river. But be ready. Its not cheap. Dining there can be... More

Stayed at the Gaylord for a conference. The great benefit is that everything is within walking distance and the amount of great restaurants are overwelming. Fun place to visit, great in the winter with small kids to see the ICE exhibit at the Gaylord.

We had some time so we took the opportunity to visit the many boutique stores around National Harbor. Esp liked Charming Charlies and the Peeps store. Both had everything you could possibly imagine.

Far away from DC and maybe that is the point, but I don't get the draw. No convenient public transportation and one half hour by car into downtown DC. There are few shops mostly T shirts and touristy souvenirs with an typical outlet mall nearby. Some good restaurants, but there are good restaurants in DC. Nothing else to do. Will... More

We attended the Ugly Sweater Run for Save the Children & were so impressed with the venue. Parking was easy. The community is well laid out & modern. There is such a wide variety of vendors (coffee shops, restaurants, retailers, boutiques, etc...). It was remarkably easy to get to. Definitely worth a visit.
