Every time I spoke with the folks at the various LDS sites around Temple Square and they heard I'm Catholic they urged me to visit here. It must be unique in the Western US in style and decoration. The choir was amazing and the liturgy was almost flawless. It really was like a step back into an Old World-style church.... More

This is a beautiful old church. Definitely a must see for visitors of Utah. It's located right downtown and shouldn't take up more than two hours of your time, unless you want it to of course!

Absolutely beautiful old catholic Church . The cantor on Saturday evening was a young lady with a God given voice. The organ music was wonderful.

the outside is fantastically beautiful and the internal architecture very impressive. the painting of the inside took away from the natural stone beauty and was a little too bright for a traditional cathedral.

This was a last minute add on to the final day of our visit to SLC and we’re happy we did. The exterior reminded me of some of the churches found in Europe and the stained glass was quite impressive. It’s definitely worth a visit.

I went to mass here twice, at 5:15pm Wednesday and Thursday and had the blessing of hearing the boys and girls of the Cathedral Choir sing on alternate nights. The Cathedral has been renovated in the not too distance past and is breathtaking. Do not miss the weekday evening mass when this internationally famous choir sings!

Researched this place before arrival. It exceeded expectations. A must to see when visiting Salt Lake City. We were there early and met the cleaners - they were very friendly. The architecture is beautiful. We were able to light candles for our loved ones. We spent a couple of hours here and did not even realise. Walking distance from downtown.... More

The choir school here puts on incredible performances. We went to a Christmas Carol concert, and it was so reverent and beautiful.

It was immediately apparent when passing this beautiful building that this is a church lovingly crafted and maintained to inspire people. Long may it remain in such a state.

The Catholic Church is only minutes from downtown Salt Lake (a walkable distance), with ample parking. There is a choir school attached to the church and we were able to appreciate their lovely voices at the Benediction before Mass.
