For a person of the Catholic faith is a nice place to visit. It is a bit further out from where everything is "happening" but a nice place to visit. It's more of a renaissance arts type of place with many paintings.

WOW! Pretty much sums up this place. Never would have thought SLC would have such an amazingly beautiful cathedral. Every corner, ever detail, so beautiful. Attended a mass while here as well. Excellent mass, very friendly and welcoming parishioners. If you are a Catholic, or just a fan of religious art, you have to check this place out.

We always visit churches and cathedrals and this trip was no exception. My daughter's name is Madeleine so we had to go see it. It was absolutely beautiful and if you enjoy these types of visits on your trip then you must go see this cathedral. Afterwards we walked around the grounds and witnessed the church serving dinner to the... More

Visited recently with my kids. In a rare moment they were stunned into silence. We felt like we were a long way from Utah. It's hard to believe the church is only around a hundred years old, the feel was more of something medieval. Every inch of this building seemed to be heavily detailed with meaningful symbols and beautiful carvings.... More

The appearance of the cathedral is indeed stunning. Attention to detail is immediately evident. Only the finest materials went into construction. The appearance is stunning and our eyes were riveted.

Beautiful and timeless. Check times for service so you can really walk around and admire the beauty. Stay for service or not. It's 100% free but they do have a donation box so feel free to leave some $$. Free to park on the side streets but check times.

We were lucky enough to experience the 11am Mass. The Cantor had a beautiful voice and visitors were made to feel very welcome!

Although the Mormon grounds are beautiful, this cathedral is a must stop, its spacious formal beauty was worth the trip. I love to visit Cathedrals throughout the country and just take a moment to give a word of thanks to God for bringing me to these wonderful places. Don't forget to look behind you at the pipe organ. There is... More
