I have lived in Idaho my whole life. I had always thought that the only place to take a family theme park vacation was in California. Well I was wrong. We loaded up the kids for a whirlwind weekend in Salt Lake and Lagoon was on the top of our list. My summary of Lagoon would be a combination of... more

We come from Idaho to Lagoon every summer. We find discount tickets and then use them during a bounce-back week. It makes the trip very affordable. One place I know you can get a discount online is usually through Deseret Book early in the summer (you have to buy something from Deseret Book to get the discount coupons) We always... more

We just got back from a long weekend at Lagoon. We camped at the campground next door. Although the spaces were narrow, they were very long, so you could stagger without being too close to your neighbor. It was grassy, convenient and bathrooms were clean. My kids (6 & 10) had two glorious days at the park. It was fourth... more

I'm used to paying at least twice the amount to get in to a park in California, and then waiting in line for twice the amount of time, and on top of that having a full body search to even get into the park... so Lagoon is a wonderful breath of fresh air for me compared to the parks in... more

I have been going to Lagoon for years. For the area it is a great day of entertainment. There is a good variety of rides for all types of riders. With the option of Lagoona Beach, rides, and entertainment it is well worth the $35 admition price. more

Lagoon is the only good amusment park in utah, but it isn't a disneyland or magic mountain. The rides are fun, but many are unsafe and ancient. If you are planning to go, find a time where no one will be there. If the park is slammed you'll only get on a few rides and be disappointed. I suggest going... more

We were on holidays and had to see what Lagoon was all about. We have a smaller theme park in our area, so Lagoon is big and flashy by comparison. On this hot Saturday in mid-May, the park was crowded, expensive, and only partially operational; but my kids (ages 7, 5, and 3) oblivious to all these things, had a... more

Our family moved to Northern Utah a little over a year ago, and finally decided to see what Lagoon was all about. We were afraid to spend close to $140 for tickets and have it be lame, but figured the only way we would know is if we tried it out. We are a family of four and with a... more

I grew up going there every summer-fond memories. My kids(ages 10, 6, and 3) had never been there. They were in heaven! (yes its not as nice as Disneyland) but they might as well have been there. Lots of fun rides for all ages, including mom and dad. We also spent one day at the water park (Lagoona Beach) It... more

We make the drive or flight to California to attend the theme parks there for a MUCH better value. Lagoon is such a joke. I understand that at one time it may have been the *big* thing---when it was first built, but the prices do NOT match the quality or attractions featured. more
