We were pleasantly surprised at the caliber of shows performed here. We would go back if they had something that was to our liking.

If you love Opera and you do not like paying the high prices of New York, Boston, San Francisco, etc., you will love the Utah Opera Company

The Utah Opera is definitely one of the best things about Utah. I am not a big fan of opera music, but must say I have enjoyed the plays I have gone to. The music was good. I really enjoyed the singing, dancing and acting.

The Opera and Ballet companies share the Capitol Theatre and I love the grandeur of it, but the Opera Company itself is not very consistent. There is very rarely a cast put together that doesn't have at least 1 or 2 lead singers that don't mesh with everyone else. So whomever is casting is not doing such a great job.... More
