Great Shopping!

There is a great Urban Outfitters here. Also, there is a pretty sweet Barnes and Nobles. A bit chilly in winter but worth the trip!

Hi Susan, unfortunately, it sounds like the shopping center you are referring to is the Gateway Mall, they are also downtown Salt Lake City and have the stores you mention in your review. Next time you are in the area we invite you to visit City Creek Center as well. Our center features a fully retractable roof and climate controlled... More

When it comes down to it, it's just a mall with the usual stores. That said, it is a nice mall and an enjoyable place to stroll through. I took my daughter to the children's play area near the food court and she had a great time. Lots of moms bring their kids and I felt a little out of... More

We happened on City Creek while staying overnight in SLC. It's very nice for just walking around, but the shopping is awesome. Nordstroms, Athleta, many more. Definitely enjoyed this.

I went to Salt Lake City for a day of shopping while skiing in Utah. Interesting that it's a semi outdoor centre and its -7c. This centre had quite a lot of US chain stores and only 2 department stores. It was a messy style to navigate your way around. being Australian and familiar with shopping in many US states... More

This mall was done right. Beautifully laid out with the creek running through it. Many stores to suit everyone's taste. Top of the line stores as well. No Dollar Trees type places here! Parking can be had via numerous entrances that lead to underground parking garages. We were there for a couple hours and it only cost $2. Mall is... More

My family and I visit City Creek fairly frequently and enjoy the various dining options, the shopping, and the easy location. Parking is abundant and the retractable roof makes shopping comfortable all year. My 2-year old loves the stream that runs through City Creek and the play area in the food court.

I love stopping here, the parking is easy, and there are so many places to shop and eat. The food court, along with the restaurants are plentiful, and you have a wide choice of cusines. It is open air, with seating available, and always nicely decorated.

We love shopping here. All the ironwork is beautiful. The creek and the operable roof. Some stores we have at home, others give variety (Porsche store, Hugo Boss, Restoration Hardware, Nordstrom, Solomon). We like the outdoor fireplace and the creek. If you are an architecture fan....Largest downtown redevelopment project in US, Cost $3B, 10 years, Mormon Church developed it and... More

I love just walking through this shopping place - I hate to even call it a mall. It feels like you are outside with the flowing creek and fish and greenery and rocks. The huge atrium ceiling and glass works at the end of the buildings is stunning. The shops are all very nice and the atmosphere just screams classy.... More

Wear comfortable shoes as this place is spread out. Everything you need and most things you want can be found here. A large variety of eating places, stores of every kind and lots of little luxuries for the shopper have been added to make the experience very enjoyable. The information staff are really friendly and helpful. I love the fountains,... More
