Walked out the back of dicks sporting goods and was blown away about another mall being outside. Very well done, the old union pacific depot is very cool. To build around that and keep it all so clean was very well done. I would definitely come back, didn't have much time as I had a plane to catch but I... More

this outdoor shopping mall is located near the energy solutions arena and has a nearby uta trax stop. Its an outdoor mall which is okay in nice weather, but has little shelter from the elements except ducking into the stores. There is a nice food court here with a number of standard fast food options like mcdonalds. My reason for... More

We went shopping and walked the mall and it was clean and easily accessible. Good choices and not crowded. Located right by our hotel. Very convenient.

Most of the stores have closed. The restaurant area still has quite a few choices however. The fountains were nice for the kids to play in, but if you are looking to shop go elsewhere.

Kids will love the splash pad on a hot summer's day. There are some quirky little shops teens will find interesting. Although it's across from the homeless shelter, this mall is regularly patrolled by bicycle cops, and we have never been bothered by anyone here. Parking is plentiful (and usually free) underground.

Needs more shops. Is strangely laid out. I didn't really like that it was outside, especially in summer. It is possible to spend a few hours there looking around.

How many times have I gone to The Gateway & not noticed The Depot? The Gateway is Salt Lake City's outdoor/indoor Mall & Theater Complex with Restruarants & just about everything. The concept of walking in the outdoors on a beautiful day is a great experience. My wife & I decided to listen to some Music ~ maybe catch a... More

This mall continues to grow along one street in Salt Lake downtown. Parking is available in garages and on the north end. The list of stores has no big department stores yet includes many of the pthers you would expect in an upscale mall.

Lots of good shops to look through. It is a shame we didn't discover this on our first day instead of our last night. It is a safe family area to walk through with many more options then the downtown shopping. We had a really good Japanese meal here.

The Gateway has a lot of individual attractions that add up to a pleasant experience. There is plenty of shopping, amongst varied retailers. However, if you want electronics, you will need to vist another location as both the Microsoft and Apple stores are at another Salt Lake city location. The choices of places to eat has become centralized around the... More
