Gateway is a very nice, outdoor shopping center with many great stores and restaurants. But it also has a children's museum, movie theater, and a space museum. There seemed to be a lack of restrooms. The food court had plenty. But it took a while to find it. Parking was very convenient.

This shopping mall seems deserted and neglected. There are no nice restaurants and coffee shops. It has obviously lost a lot of business to the newer and much nicer shopping centre downtown (City Creek).

Stopped by the Gateway to kill time before our flight home. This outdoor mall has modern architecture and lots to do. There had been a sidewalk chalk event the day before and the artwork was amazing. They have the coolest candy store ever, RocketFizz. Unfortunately there were quite a few empty stores fronts, but there was still plenty to shop.... More

I am sad! I used to love the Gateway and it was a wonderful place for the whole family. The brand stores, shady places to sit, food court and a was nice. Don't forget the movie theater. Now it is run down and plenty of homeless people stroll it all day long! Junkies and dealers as well. The good stores... More

Good place for a walk, but the shopping is less than spectacular. There were a ton of empty store fronts, and only a few big name stores.

I used to walk down to The Gateway on Sunday afternoons when I was in Salt Lake City - being it was the only mall open within walking distance. The last time I was there, I was shocked how many stores had left. Several of my favorite stores used to be there but are gone. No need to walk down... More

The selection of stores is more boutique and niche than anything here. Don't expect to find a Macys or other mall staple. They do have some unique shops like Abercrombie & Fitch, Sur la Table, Victoria Secret among the major chain stores. Last time I was there I found out Tuesday Morning was closing up shop here, which was nice... More

I always love going to the Gateway. It's fun to window shop, enjoy the restaurants, and play in the fountains!

We came from Casper, WY to see TV on the Radio at The Depot on Saturday. As an avid music lover, I was excited to catch this band at such a small venue. I was shocked at how this place was set up for the show. The only way to have a beer was going upstairs (above the stage). That... More

We came here on a whim just to see a movie, and were able to cruise around most of the mall feeling fairly good about the place. It has a lot of nice lounge areas. There are quite a bit of homeless that wander through the area but they don't bother you very much. If you're here on a weekend... More
