I was surprised to see a lot of negative reviews. We went on June 14, 2014 and it was great. Not too crowded and lots of fun. Most of the review for this attraction bring up that there wasn't enough scares and that the actors were terrible. News flash, all haunted house actors are terrible. You can't judge a haunted... I loved it. I went to their Friday the 13th Blackout and I thought it would be like any other haunted house. I was wrong. Seriously, go.

I had low expectations after reading some of the reviews but since I like to do several new haunted attractions a year, I decided to give it a try. I bought the VIP passes online so I could bypass the lines and that is the way to go. Overall, I was really impressed with the actual structure and the different... More

I was injured on the slide in the Fear Factory and NO ONE cared!!! They were VERY understaffed, and I told the Lady doing the Pictures at the end... she was VERY incaring, as if she had heard many others say that they also had hurt themselves on the slide. I ended up later that night going to the emergency... More

I agree with most reviewers that as far as "scare" factor goes, there are better venues in the area. But I won't thrash the place either. I think they are attempting to hard to fit into the "Utah Scene" in trying to appeal to the folks that love a good haunt, and those who want things to be "Family Friendly".... More

This is by far the worst spook alley I have ever been too! I've gone to all of them from Provo to Ogden and have been going for 15 years. It is unsafe, you do nothing but climb million flights of stairs in which you can barely see, there are maybe 10 RUDE, horrible actors with bad breath who couldn't... More

After reading the bad reviews I had very low expectations for The Fear Factory. I was pleasantly suprised. The location and setting is fantastic! I can see how the lines could be long but we showed up 30 minutes before opening and that was plenty to avoid the long lines. Leave plenty of time because it does take around an... More

I went to the fear factory on Thursday and I was more scared of injuring myself than of the actors! Very cool location but dangerous! I am surprised nobody has fallen down the first set of cement stairs and broken there neck! To many flights of stairs to make it enjoyable I left out of one of the emergency exits... More

While we're completely up to code at our haunt, we understand that if you were afraid of heights it would make the experience less than enjoyable. Let us know if there's anything we can do to improve your experience in the future. Email us at info@fearfactoryslc.com. More

If you like amatuer night at the theatre, then this is the haunt for you. We do extreme Halloween at are house. And in driving to Las Vegas in 2011 and 2012 (our usual Halloween destination) discussed doing a Halloween weekend in Salt Lake to see what they have to offer. So yes we are use to the extreme, sign... More

This was terrible. I got scared once, maybe twice, or three times at most. The actor's were horrible and cheesy. When I walked through the farm section, one actor literally said, "Corn? I don't want corn, I want human flesh!" All of that said in like a redneck voice. In the medical part every actor was monotone and saying help.... More
