We parked in liberty park and walked to the aviary. It's a beautiful park with many activities. The aviary was fun and educational. The layout is easy and well organized. Be sure to check the program for the shows they are entertaining. Our favorite was the parrots. Plan to pawn at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours. The price is... More

This attraction was the highlight of our trip to Salt Lake City. The Aviary is well built with birds grouped by their native region/type of bird. The grounds are well-manicured and very clean. Good information on each bird/area of habitation is provided. There are plentiful places for sitting and watching and picnics are allowed inside. There is no food for... More

Very well maintained, and well stocked with unusual and interesting birds. The sanctuary has found several large birds that can no longer fly, and provides perfect surroundings so they still live active and comfortably.

This place is just so relaxing and fun. I am a bird lover so it makes sense that I would really enjoy this place but it's a fairly quiet place to just stroll around and have a picnic for those who may not LOVE birds. They have also made some good improvements over the years and I've heard more are... More

Me and daughter make it a requirement to visit every time we go to Salt Lake. They have made many improvements to the site and some off the staff even recognize us now. Feeding the birds in the Amazon enclosed is our favorite the birds are no longer afraid of my daughter's wheelchair.

The entry was so expensive given the limiting things I could see at this Aviary. I thought this was the crappiest place with sad looking birds! DO NOT GO!

Nothing in this place was exciting to look at. There was construction going on around it and there are hardly any birds to look at. It needs an upgrade and to have more exotic birds, different kinds of species to look at and an area for kids. It was really boring and not much to look at. Alot of the... More

I was charged extra for 2 tokens for conservation without being asked! 1 dollar is already included in the admission fee! 2 other couples with us were charged extra without asking as well, a total of 12 dollars! We didn't notice the extra charges until later when looking at our receipts. We feel the staff is ripping us off unaware.... More

Much smaller than you would think. Not bad though. Some cool things, but I guess I just expected more.. Not a bad review but I would not go out of my way to see it.
