Aviary charges small fee for entrance, portion of which is donated towards conservation project. Fun place to visit, with several walk-in aviaries. Great owl exhibit, neat rare birds. If you get a chance to feed sun conures - do it, great experience, and the bird keeper is very knowledgable.

Great for family or just yourself. Spend a couple of hours watching the birds and feeding the fish too. Or come by yourself for a leisurely stroll around the aviary for lunch. This is a free stop a few times a year with the 7 Peaks Pass of All Passes. Huge parks surround the aviary. Great place for a picnic... More

you know those days where your kids are stir crazy and need just something to do? This is a good one. Tucked back behind Liberty park and close to down town SLC. Its not huge, so the kids don't tire out but enough unique birds to keep them interested. Take a lunch and enjoy the park after.

I've been to Tracy Aviary on two different visits to SLC and have loved it both times. It's not too big, but has a great variety of birds in a nice friendly setting. Whether by yourself, a couple, or a family, I would recommend a visit.

The Tracy Aviary, located in Liberty Park, is a great little gem in Salt Lake City. A couple things to note: if you have the Pass of All Passes, you get in for $1.00 on Tuesdays, which means if you DON'T have that pass, you might want to avoid crowds on that day. If you want to get in on... More

Or bird lovers of any stripe! Entry fees are minimal ($7.00 for adults) and while the place is small, they make excellent use of the space they do have. Flight cages GALORE. Wonderful views of both exotic, international birds and American natives. Bring your camera and long lens... and the Andean condor is a show-off in case you are wondering... More

Great place to visit. Very easy to walk around. Lots of very interesting exhibits. Loads of information. Lots of opportunities for seeing birds up close. Especially worthwhile is the indoor (or outdoor) bird show. Opportunities to feed birds and pelicans. Much of their work is conservation. Staff very friendly and approachable. Easy to get there by car, plenty of parking... More

We had a wonderful time walking around the aviary and learning about the birds. It's definitely worth the admittance fee and a great thing to do on a sunny day.

In Liberty Park with ample parking. It's a nice side trip with or without the kids. Interesting collection of birds and information abounds. Weekends can be a bit crowded in the park but searching should yield a parking spot.
