Some Salt Lake City residents suggested we visit here in a few spare hours. We are glad they did. located in a lovely 'city park' this Aviary appears to be a haven for schools to visit for outdoor learning. The collection isn't as extensive as you may find in bigger establishments but is carefully managed to highlight diversity and regional... More

Andy the Andean Condor goes on walks through the park which is awesome to see. Very cute attraction- took a little over an hour to go through. Would be awesome for anyone with kids.

Nice place to visit, but don't plan on spending a long time there. There is a good variety of birds to see, but we aren't birders. Shows are on a very limited schedule, so call first for times if you want to see the show.

They do a good job of trying to mimic the natural environment for these birds. It was clean and the staff was very friendly

The staff was super knowledgable and the bird show was great (even though we aren't kids nor have kids). The aviary was much bigger than expected and the park itself was very nice. There was a huge variety of birds and the trip made for a nice afternoon!

This is a great day trip. If you have a pass of all passes you can get in free. They've recently updated the park so it is clean and beautiful.

This attraction is nestled inside Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. It is a great place to see some really incredible birds and enjoy some time outdoors. I particularly enjoyed seeing Andy - Andean condor. On certain days we takes a walk with his trainer around the property. He is very impressive. I also really liked the Owl Forest section... More

We lived in Salt Lake for five years and visited the aviary many times. My kids have way more fun here than they do at the zoo. The aviary has dozens of little side paths and spots for kids to play and explore, like a big digging sand pit, a tree house in the owl area, we could spend many... More

What a wonderful place to visit. I can't say I'm a "bird person" but I thoroughly enjoyed this park. It was beautiful, relaxing, and informative.... a great way to spend a few hours. There were many handlers/employees walking around and they were happy to answer questions. They clearly care about their birds! I would highly recommend if you are visiting... More
