We went here for my birthday. My 2 year old loves birds. When you walk in it's fun because they give you tokens to drop in for your donation of wildlife of your choice. While walking along the attraction you can go off paths to explore a little more. They have many variation of birds there and fun shows. They... More

Re-designed a few years ago, now it's a great place to take a family of young kids, or a family of two who wants to spend an interesting afternoon among some of the most interesting birds in the world.

On our first attempt to visit the Aviary it was pouring with rain, we chanced upon one of the bird trainers Erin who was patiently waiting for one of her owls to come down from a very tall tree, she suggested that we come back another day and see one of the bird shows. We returned two days later and... More

Liked the facilities of the birds and ducks. The flamengos were a treat. Trees kept us cool on a warm day and it is located within a park which is conveniently close to the city center.

We took our children to see the birds. The cages are nice and roomy. There is a really nice selection of birds from all over the world. We did not watch a bird show so I cannot comment on that. The children loved it and it took us about 2-3 hours to slow walk through all the exhibits. We probably... More

Aviary charges small fee for entrance, portion of which is donated towards conservation project. Fun place to visit, with several walk-in aviaries. Great owl exhibit, neat rare birds. If you get a chance to feed sun conures - do it, great experience, and the bird keeper is very knowledgable.

Great for family or just yourself. Spend a couple of hours watching the birds and feeding the fish too. Or come by yourself for a leisurely stroll around the aviary for lunch. This is a free stop a few times a year with the 7 Peaks Pass of All Passes. Huge parks surround the aviary. Great place for a picnic... More

you know those days where your kids are stir crazy and need just something to do? This is a good one. Tucked back behind Liberty park and close to down town SLC. Its not huge, so the kids don't tire out but enough unique birds to keep them interested. Take a lunch and enjoy the park after.
