The tour guide from Salt Lake Bicycle Tours told us about the excellent and unusual qualities of the waters of City Creek and it's source. Ask to be taken to Gravity Hill, behind the Capitol Building. Very interesting!

Nice mall, smack in the middle of SLC, just a stone throw from the Salt Palace congress centre. Nice layout, lots of shops and places to eat.

A great small canyon for recreation right in the downtown area. half way up dogs are restricted because of the watershed area. 7miles paved with dirt trails on either side. The creek runs year round. Be careful in spring. High run off can be dangerous.

A nice 13 mile round trip hike / bike trip up a watershed literally 5 blocks from the heart of downtown. I actually biked to the gate and hike up the ravine. There are a few chances to climb off trail on the way up. While I hiked the trail, overwhelmingly people biked it. If I had something better than... More

Twenty five dollars for parking... really?!! Apparently not every store offers validation, it's like gold there, and each one is good for one hour. Seems as though only the high-end stores offer these. This outdoor mall is nice but all of the panhandlers at the entrance/exit is a bit much.

Very lovely shopping center and a good place to sit outside with a cup of coffee. Knead era, a bakery and cafe has the best bread ever. Get a map as it is easy to get confused.

I love hiking, biking, fishing and driving up City Creek canyon. There are even a couple of sport rock climbing routes (not great, but fun if you want to just go do a quick climb). I live downtown and it's amazing how quickly you can feel out of the city. The lower canyon is nice and has several picnic areas... More

OK PEOPLE. Please stop reviewing this as an outdoor mall! It is an outdoor hiking area that actually has a trail, waterfalls and a creek. It is part of Memory Grove with many Tributes to WWI veterans and is a little oasis inside the city. it is a wonderful park for families, hikers, joggers, walkers, and has an off-leash area... More
