The movie about the early days of the Mormon Church was very informative and inspirational. It's free!

This was the perfect place to have dinner when doing the site seeing. We loved the view from this 10th floor restaurant; and the food was very good. The prices are reasonable. It was a great experience.

If you're heading to Temple Square, this building is worth seeing. It's a renovated hotel that is absolutely stunning inside!! There are 3 restaurants there (which also allows for 3 hours of free parking underground is you eat there and get your ticket validated). Fantastic views from the restaurants on the 10th floor (we are at the Garden one). The... More

Was looking for a quick lunch, but didn't want chain food. Saw a cute place in the corner of this building. Had to walk through the front revolving doors. We thought it was a swanky hotel. We were star struck by the interior design. Everything was exquisite. The ceilings, chandeliers, paintings, etc. were fabulous. A must see. It is a... More

We hosted my son's wedding luncheon in the Jade Room at this beautiful building! The windows are huge and look out to the Salt Lake Temple which belongs to the LDS Church. The catering staff was helpful all along the way with planning suggestions, etc. The menu selections were amazing and our event was a huge success. I would definitely... More

Beautiful building to visit with architecture and design a tribute to Joseph Smith. Lobby attended to by staff who are very helpful to direct and assist you. Just sit for awhile to take in the surroundings. We left a backpack with camera and found it an hour later by the chair--quietly being watched by a nice volunteer at a near... More

Great to visit. Go to the top floor and take photos of Salt Lake on both sides of the building. Great dining too.

A visit to Temple Square which included the Joseph Smith building was an enlightening experience. Our entire tour which also included the conference center and the taping of the Mormon Tabernacle choir Sunday show is a must see. The Latter Day Saints tour guides could not have been more gracious as they led us thru this gorgeous complex The Lion... More

This was formerly a hotel and the lobby is breathtaking. There are three wonderful restaurants in the building. We suggest the Garden on the top floor for the views of the Temple.

I walked in the building thinking of seeing Joseph Memorial. It was one of the 5 star hotel in city and now converted into meeting rooms and Restaurant. Kept most of the original decors and this 5 star is truly a 5 star. Was very nice to walk around and see.
