While in Salt Lake City, eat at the Roof buffet for dinner. It is exceptional. Make sure to have the rolls! It is on the top level of the JSMB with stunning views of the city and surrounding Salt Lake valley. It sits across from the Salt Lake LDS Temple and gives a stunning up-close view of the spires and... More

This is a very historic but beautifully maintained building. When I was little, my father's extended family used to meet here for a reunion every year. The large red velvet circular couch that used to sit under what seemed to a child a massive chandelier is no longer there...but the chandelier still is...and it's still beautiful! Grounds are immaculate as... More

We were trying to make a group reservation for one of the restaurants in the Joseph Smith Building, and ended up seeing quite a bit of the building as we went up & down the elevator shuttling from one office to another. The ambience is over-the-top: marble, chandeliers, grand piano in lobby with pianist, grand staircase, etc. There are three restaurants... More

I attended church in this building with my Mom years ago, so it was a treat to do the same with my family recently. It's a beautiful older building that's just neat to see. It was being renovated when we were there, but is still open to the public.

This building is absolutely amazing! The minute you walk in the door you can sense it's history as a former hotel, but feel the beauty and spirit in the purpose it has now. I have eaten at all 3 restaurants and also had my wedding reception in the Empire Room, and everything was amazing. The restaurants have delicious food and... More

This is the best place for breakfast! The omelets and quiche are delicious. The prices are practically give-away. No coffee though. They have Coke, but no coffee. No problem. Get coffee in your hotel and take it to breakfast. The lunch menu is also good, but breakfast is excellent. The tenth floor view is beautiful. A must do. The lobby... More

Beautiful Faux marble columned lobby. A lot of work went into the artful columns. A lovely and quiet place to sit and reflect for a few minutes. At the top of the building a restaurant. Held a wedding reception up there and it was quite an event. wonder views of the city and well catered.
