This was a wonderful zoo-very well laid out, manageable for a wheel chair. I loved the Meerkats. It was sprinkling out, but there were many places along the way for cover-plus it was cooler. It is in a beautiful setting. The animals are lucky to be living there.

The first thing we noticed was how clean and organized the zoo is. We had visited many years ago and every part has been enlarged, remodelled and added to. There are numerous new sculptures and interactive exhibits making it a very fun visit for the huge crowds that were there. They have done a whole lot of work, and there... More

I'm from Denver and in comparison, this zoo is significantly smaller with few exhibits. However, the exhibits they do have are wonderful and well kept. They have signature zoo animals ranging from lions to polar bears to elephants. The grounds are kept very tidy and the map was easy to follow. Lots of activities and educational opportunities available for children.

Was a hot summer day but was still fun. Lost of animals to see. the Tiger and the Bears had the right idea. All were in the water. If it been awhile since you have been to the zoo they have upgraded there main restaurant. Homemade beard & pizza top the list. great for all ages.

I went to the zoo with family. 3 young kids 3 mons, 4 yrs, 7 yrs. Last time we went was 2 years ago. Nothing had changed. We had to buy a entrance ticket for our 3 month old... I think that is sticking to a family a little. A lot of the exhibits were not showing because they were... More

I always find this place to be top quality for smaller zoos. Clean, neat, animal's quarters clean, prices are reasonable. The staff is always pleasant and willing to help, show their love and enthusiasm as well as their knowledge for their assigned duties. Those who maintain the animals pens, do shows, are caring and knowledgeable and are more than willing... More

Pros Parking was free and easily found. Gift shop was large. Was not overly priced to get In zoo. Cons Train ride was a waste of time. Saw three animals. You will stand in line longer than the ride. Ride is maybe 5 mins. Does not even cover an 1/8 th of the park. They need to make it so... More

We have seen many parks, but this is one of the best. Apart from many exhibits, we saw enough space in the enclosure for the animals which I consider very important. Animals were looking healthy and active. There is an admission fees of USD17.5 per person which I feel is value for the money. Timing is 9 am to 6... More

The zoo has undergone constant changes in the last several years and if you haven't been there lately, you'll be amazed. This is not the zoo you grew up with. We have a zoo membership, which is a great way to go, if you're local. It can save you money, even if you only go twice a year. Anyway, the... More

It was nice to see that changes have been made to this zoo. It makes it more exciting when you are a local and you like to visit every couple of years. Grounds are kept very clean and workers were friendly. Exhibits were all accessible to any age and whether you are in a stroller or a wheelchair. Prices were... More
