Along with Liberty park, this is best park in SLC. Huge area around the park for jogging and biking and such. Large pond for watching or feeding the ducks. Tons of grass for soccer, frisbee, volleyball, and so on. Playground areas for kids. Lots of terraces for family reunions and such. It's more tame than Liberty Park and suffers from... More

This park has been around forever, I lived right by there as a child. Great everything! Close to shopping, food and feeding the birds! A very nice place in the summer especially for the fireworks on the 4th of July, Just a great family place. Sleigh riding in the winter, also great running trails around the exterior....

I like this park - rolling hills on the running path, a pond in the middle, nicely landscaped with flowers. Often painters go to this park for the scenery. My only major complaint is the amount of goose poo all over the grass and sidewalks; gets stuck in shoes and keeps me from relaxing anywhere near the water. Yuck.

We visited the park for annual NF walk. The park is very clean and and spread out very nicely. We look forward to going back again next year.

This is the largest park in SLC. Lots of open space and venue type options. Very biker/runner friendly.

Used to take my kids to this park when they were little, to ride anything and everything down that hill! In winter it was sleds. In summer it was bicycles, skateboards and blocks of ice! We had picnics, laid in the grass and read books, flew kites, hiked around, played in the water and on the playground equipment and watched... More

Sugarhouse Park is a great park for any outdoor plans, for group gatherings, family picnics, walking your dog (must be leashed) or just relaxing. You can rent different areas for groups from $70-$100. All seven pavilions have the following amenities: lights and electricity, a fireplace, a drinking fountain, at least two barbeque stands, wood picnic tables, a volleyball court, and... More

We just held an outdoor picnic and worship service for 130 people under one of the pavilions and loved it. The park is easy to find, has tons of space, ponds, trees, excellent mountain views, clean restrooms, and great gazebos. The only drawback was there was a huge gathering of people at the basketball courts for some sort of tournament... More
