A fun way to go to Victoria BC. Efficient and easy to do. Our favorite. Only took an hour and a half. Customs was friendly and efficient. Love the soft ice cream available in the cantee.

The Coho gets the trip across Juan de Fuca Strait done with ease. No frills, but no fuss. Basic seating, efficient boarding and confidence of a team that know what they are doing.

Wonderful ride over to Victoria BC for the weekend. Friendly staff, the price is right, convenient and comfortable for a 90 minute ferry ride.

Ferry left and arrived in time. Reception/waiting areas and washrooms were clean and very comfortable. Good service, friendly staff. Coffee was hot and good...a little pricey for a small cup but you're on a ferry! Snack bar had a good selection including fresh fruit, but remember it's a convenience snack bar not a restaurant. We felt got what we paid... More

You really don't need a car in Victoria unless you are planning an automobile trip beyond Victoria proper. Leave your car in Port Angeles - there are several daily rate parking lots close to Blackball's Coho Ferry terminal that you can use while you are "overseas" in Victoria. Blackball's Coho ferry takes you right into Victoria's inner harbor, just steps... More

Very well run, the Black Ball takes you from one shore to another. Its always interesting and a huge break from driving. Although the food is typical ferry food, there is an interesting gift store striving to bring in interesting things, sometimes, locally produced. I've never experienced a late boat, and the ferry workers are pleasant while being efficient.

Easy to register on line and then just show up and pay for the ride. The water was very turbulent but the ride was great. If you didn't look outside you would never know that the water was rough. Getting on and off was very easy with few vehicles on board when we crossed.

It used to be that you could check in and then wander around to get a coffee etc. Since 9/11 or whatever that changed. You have to arrive 90 minutes ahead; there are no food or coffee facilities, and you have to stay in your car. That's not so bad in summer, but down on the dock in Victoria in... More

A very busy ferry, they know how to stack them in. Such a great ride from Port Angeles to Victoria, B. C. Staff are pleasant, the boat seems to be cleaner than our B. C. Ferry's. We enjoyed our trip and always take this ferry . You'll enjoy your trip.
