It's been awhile since I've been on the Coho (10+ years) and let me say that boat looks like it just came out of the factory. The Washington State ferry system should have Black Ball run their system because it's like night and day. On the Coho the employees are actually happy to see you and don't consider you a... More

Good service, mostly very friendly staff, good facilities on board, timely departure, easy to navigate website. Had a staff member making a 'power' decision to make us (and the cars behind us) wait in punishment when we dropped our key in the dark hull and took time to start the car.

Always a fun adventure on the Coho! Great deals if your planning a stay overnight! The view is breath taking every sailing.

Very well organized. Only One hour and a half to get to Victoria. Smooth ride and good staff. Privately owned so they really have good customer service. Parking is across the street and costs from $6 to $10 for the day.

We took the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria for the day. Smooth ride, comfortable seating, easy customs. Don't forget your passport. Highly recommend.

We have used B.C. Ferries and Ancortes Ferry but the past 3 times we have traveled to the States we have chosen the Black Ball Ferry Line. We enjoy the quick and scenic ride from Victoria to Port Angeles and have not had one negetative thing to say about the whole experience. Staff is wonderful , we are even allowed... More

My husband is disabled and, while they do not have an on board elevator, there system of "hand delivering" via wheelchair worked really well the staff on both sides were great!

An expensive ferry ride with a very complex loading and unloading system. Being able to get a decent cup of coffee while onboard would definitely have improved the experience!

Dear Bojogreen, Thank you for taking the time to review our ferry service. We value the feedback. We are sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience, which is always our goal. Our loading system is not unlike other ferry operators, although there are additional activities associated with crossing an international border. However, many of our customers... More

Very efficient with enough room for many cars. Did not have reservations. Very smooth trip. It was the first ferry experience for our grand kids. Enough time to explore the front deck. Very enjoyable and saved a long drive.
