Rafting the Elwha River and seeing the 3 foot plus salmon swimming up river was amazing. The guides were wonderful - pointing out the salmon as well as bald eagles swooping down on the salmon. Wonderful time on the river. It was the first time that many salmon had been that far upriver in over 100 years and the guides... More

They were an hour late picking us up at our rendevouz point. Smallest rafts that I have ever been in for a float, two across, three down. Unless you get the point front seat you are left with your knees cramped for the entire 1 1/2 float trip. Our boat and one other were hung up on the bottom several... More

Ruth, Thank you for allowing us to provide you the opportunity to experience the Hoh River and we are sorry the trip did not meet your expectations. After speaking with Michelle, activity director for the Senior Center, we both took partial blame for the miscommunication and the late arrival on our part. But that is no excuse and we would... Olympic Raft and Kayak took the ultimate care of us. We were shuttled to the drop off point and Emily and Jordan were great at helping us with gear and procedures. Peaceful float down the Hoh river and occasional light rapids for fun. Sounds and sights were delightful. A great way to see the area from a different perspective. Thanks... More

Taking the Olympic Raft & Kayak trip down the Elwha River never gets old. No matter how many times we've gone, there's always new things to see. Our guide, Jordan, was very knowledgable about the area, the wildlife, etc. He also did a great job keeping our raft going in the right direction! Couldn't help thinking what it would be... More

As the only licensed rafting experience in the Olympic National Forest, this company has the lock on the business...and they deserve it because they deliver a really fun, interesting, beautiful and safe rafting experience that is reasonably priced and well worth your time. What a treat! Weather was perfect and our guide, Brogan, told us about the marine life we saw as we paddled along the shore. in addition to the sea stars, anemones and fish in the water, we saw an eagle and a family of five river otters playing only 20 feet away as we paddled back to the boat launch.... We took the 6 am kayaking trip and believe me, it's well worth it! We did not have any other kayakers out there and the experience was awesome, even for beginners! The waters were a little choppy but nothing too strenuous. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and very courteous. This surpassed our expectations and even our teen-agers were happy... More

Although it was extremely early it was very worth it to go at 6 am. It wasn't too hot or too cold and the morning was beautiful at Freshwater Bay. This was my second experience rafting with Olympic Raft & Kayak, on the Hoh river. While the Hoh River only hosts class one rapids the scenic views with large Sitka spruce and western big cedar covered in moss dominating the landscape, and the milky slate blue water completely hold your attention throughout the trip. I hardly noticed the relatively flat... More
