We stopped in to the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame on our way back to ATL. The place is beautiful. The exhibits are nice. You start out with a movie that is about 20 mins long. The auditorium it is in is set up like Ponce De Leon ballpark. I went there as a small child and that was neat.... More

This is a good way to kill an afternoon if your in town (or a local). Nice exhibits, very informative and entrance fee is reasonable. Lot's of cool memorabilia from the history of a state that has been blessed when it comes to sports.

The Georgia Sports Hall of fame is located in beautiful down town Macon. My family and I had a great time traveling in time looking at the history of sports from all around Georgia. Some we knew of and a lot we did not. Not everything great is in ATLANTA, and the people was so nice as well with lots... More

Loved the interactive area upstairs. It needs a little bit of maintenance in some of the interactive areas. Overall worth a visit if you like sports.

Not that many items. I was expecting a lot more, and there was few items there. I was expecting more about Young Stribling, especially since he was from Macon. One ticket and a belt was it. Georgia's athletes deserve better.

We loved the hands on fun at the Sports Hall of Fame from the time in the Sports Cars to the time on the Courts, we were actively engaged from the time we entered the doors. It was hard to leave. The time passed quickly during our visit. Smiles were abundant in our group on this date and if I... More

Friendly staff. Wonderful displays, It covers high school and Little League in addition to college and pro sports. I'm not a sports fan and I still enjoyed it. My husband is a sports fan and was familiar with many of the people/teams highlighted and we are not from GA. Orientation filme was great.

Went over the summer and I was pleasantly surprised. We were the only people there (it's sad that more people don't go) and it was very nice. Upstairs there is a small football field, basketball court, even a race car to play on. Our children really enjoyed playing the sports. They have memorabilia from every sport you can imagine. Well...
