I like the quaint little feel of the museum, Really loved the planetarium show, the kids loved it an the temp in there was just right for a quick nap in the dark under the stars, in the comfy reclining seats. Kids said it was awesome and they are 12 and 13. Husband was able to see the Titanaboa exhibit... More

Great place to visit on a hot summer afternoon. Live animals and science experiments for kids. The planetarium is very nice and modern. Also on Fridays they open the observatory, so kids can look through telescopes to see different planets and stars. From Venus to Saturn depending on the time of year. They also have art and science exhibits year... More

Great way to spend 2-3 hours in the air-conditioning!! Definitely take advantage of the live animal show (excellent, engaging presenter - cockatoo, snake, etc) and the planetarium show: makes the price seem much more reasonable.

We like to go on rainy weekends. They always have different exhibits every time we go. Fun education for the kids!

I enjoyed the traveling exhibit. A school group was there and they seemed to be enjoying their visit as well.

Macon is home to many museums celebrating a variety of subjects ranging from music to sports. But the only one dedicated to serving everyone, with a broad cross section of interestingly presented information, is the Museum of Arts & Sciences <http://www.masmacon.org/>. MAS is Georgia’s only cultural institution devoted to the arts and sciences and largest general purpose museum in the... More

Although haven't been in a while, they have great exhibits like Dinosaurs and such. Kids of all ages will enjoy this. I have attended meetings here. Modern. Clean. Convenient.

My wife and I carried our four year old granddaughter for a visit. Probably better suited for a few years older, but still okay. The "zoo" was facinating for her, but probably not much for anyone slightly older. The standing exhibits were somewhat dated and not too well maintained.

We went for the Dinosaur exibit. Believe me....Its not worth it. I dont know if its money or the city. But they need to invest more into the museum or close it down. Everything, including the gift shop is done halfway. The exibits are old, and uninteresting. I had to drag my child through the exibit. When you cant capture... More

We went to see their "Festival of the Trees" exhibit, which was wonderful. Admission also included the rest of the museum and we had a nice afternoon. The kids loved the wild animal show (birds, snake, hissing cockroach) and interactive exhibits. There is also a kids area downstairs where they can dig fossils, play checkers, build with blocks, etc. It... More
