My 9 year old wants to go back. This isn't the biggest museum, but there is a lot of hands on activities and they are still working on it. The planetarium was great, and even my 4 year old sat through it. My son was sad though that we didn't get to do that gravity wheel thing. We were informed... More

My 8 & 9 year old children both enjoyed this museum. We went and saw the live animal presentation. The children were able to pet some of the animals and learn about them. We also watched the planatarium show which was all about stars. They were both starting to yawn by the end of the star presentation. There were several... More

Took the kids to the Museum of Arts and Sciences today and they had a blast. The planetarium was very cool and the mini zoo was a nice surprise. There is a military discount available.

Nice day with the kids. The planetarium was nice and as a bonus they had an awesome roller coaster video at the end of the show. Exhibits were cool and prices were very good for this quality of museum. Allow 2-3 hours to do it all.

Should be 4.5 stars!!! A nice surprise once you walk in. Unexpected for a museum of a smaller city! Lots of fun and interactive things to play with for the kiddies! The mini zoo was cool as well! Got the chance to pet spiders and snakes!

Outstanding planetarium, and the exhibits are really wonderful, far better than those that much larger cities have. Best treasure of Macon. The Gift shop is good at supporting the exhibits. A coffee shop would make it a destination for more locals too.

Great place to take kids when it's too hot outside to play or raining. Lots of fun things for kids to do there. Even fun for adults! Worth a visit if you have never been.

I took my niece here recently and really enjoyed it. We had never been before and the mini zoo and planetarium were a lot of fun. We really had a good time and had plenty tot do for most of the afternoon. She also liked the gift shop a lot and most things were reasonably priced.

I visited this museum with my 12 year old son for the first time recently. The admission price was very reasonable ($10 for adults $5 for kids) and includes everything you can do there (planetarium, mini-zoo, live animal shows, etc), and you can come and go all day. The facility and grounds are very nice, clean, and up-to-date. It has... More
