Cannon Hall Farm is a large, family run farm attraction. Sitting in the rolling Pennine foothills, it's home to hundreds of animals, waiting to welcome you to a world of animal magic. Home to one of the biggest and best equipped playgrounds in the north of England and the largest tube maze in Europe our adventure playground is one of the biggest and best in the north of England. The farm shop is famous for home produced beef, pork, lamb and a huge variety of sausages. Our on site bakery produces award winning pies and delicious artisan bread every morning. The tearoom serves delicious home cooked food. New for 2015, The Hungry Llama indoor play and restaurant adds a great indoor option with some dramatic slides and innovative play features to a day that's already packed with fun. Winner of Best Tourism Experience at The White Rose Awards in 2011, Cannon Hall Farm was highly commended in the same category in the Visit England Awards 2012. The farm won the New Innovation Award for it's new farmyard in the National Farms for Schools Awards 2015. The farm has been shortlisted for the Best Large Attraction Award at the White Rose Awards in both 2014 and 2015.

We decided to go here today, the first time in about 18 - 24months. We found the place to have changed a lot, a new in door play area etc, we ate in the cafe and found the meals to be fine for the price we paid, arrived very fast and very hot. Now I am slightly put off coming... More

I have been a visitor to Cannon Hall Farm since my children were tiny but as they grew older we stopped going as often. For my sons 10th birthday we decided to return and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised! The farm is now huge with such well designed viewing areas that allow children to see the animals easily without... More

This is a really great place to take your children to wear them out and let them have fun. There are quite a few animals but you can no longer feed them or get really closes, it's sad as it was a great part of visiting but regulations have changed and the farm has moved on. Big outdoor play area... More

With the introduction of the new indoor play area I think it offers good value for money at £7.95 entrance price, however it is mainly made up of large outdoor adventure play and indoor soft play with some barns with animals. The kids enjoyed it but if it's a farm with variety of animals you are looking for I'd look... More

Average run of the mill cafe. Typical cafe food but with a service station feel. Been a couple of times to the farm shop, my husband particularly likes the home made egg custard tarts. Pork Pies were good also, but having tried the cafe and had the pulled pork sarnie and the steak roll probably would eat else where and... More
