Cannon Hall Farm is a large, family run farm attraction. Sitting in the rolling Pennine foothills, it's home to hundreds of animals, waiting to welcome you to a world of animal magic. Home to one of the biggest and best equipped playgrounds in the north of England and the largest tube maze in Europe our adventure playground is one of the biggest and best in the north of England. The farm shop is famous for home produced beef, pork, lamb and a huge variety of sausages. Our on site bakery produces award winning pies and delicious artisan bread every morning. The tearoom serves delicious home cooked food. New for 2015, The Hungry Llama indoor play and restaurant adds a great indoor option with some dramatic slides and innovative play features to a day that's already packed with fun. Winner of Best Tourism Experience at The White Rose Awards in 2011, Cannon Hall Farm was highly commended in the same category in the Visit England Awards 2012. The farm won the New Innovation Award for it's new farmyard in the National Farms for Schools Awards 2015 and has been shortlisted for the Best Large Attraction Award at the White Rose Awards in both 2014 and 2015.

Lovely day out, yet cafe was a bit disappointing

Been here many a time , brought the grandkids to feed the animals lots of times , we went this week with my newest grandson , what a disapointment , cant get anywhere near the animals , only could feed them through rediculous noisy tubs , They might as well get rid of the animals and build yet another eatery... We had a lovely morning outside at the farm and play area, and we went to the indoor play area, which was excellent. Although, when we ordered food (at the Hungry Llama Cafe), we waited 1hr and 10 minutes for it, as well as having a young child to look after. When it came, it was lovely, yet the wait... More

I like cannon hall farm. It's great place for families. You need good weather though as its rubbish in wrong weather. Over the years they have got less animals and more children activities which is good but the whole idea of going to a farm is to see the animals. There isn't enough to do to go for the day,... More

We went here as a last min thought weather was horrendous (even light snow) we paid just under £4 per person and 50p for a bag of feed for the animals. All the animals were under cover and within very close walking distance to next area so we didn't get wet or too cold the children loved it! Then went... More

We just love it here. Plenty to do, good food, out in the fresh air. Clean toilets. Only downside is its a tad on the pricey side for a family day out as there's not actually enough to keep my kids amused a full day - maybe half.

Far too expensive to get to see the animals. The play area needs to be separate admission. We love to see the animals but the price prevents it 😞

The perfect place to take grandchildren of all ages. Lots of places for cleaning hands, Make sure you buy lots of animal food (very cheap) as all the children love hand feeding the animals

Lovely day out, Slightly expensive to get into the farm but the entrance fee is the only thing you would need to spend money on. It was lovely seeing the piglets and lambs. The sheep race is also very entertaining, the land around the farm is beautiful and the lake at the bottom is a nice walk. Plenty of space... More

Come here regularly with my daughter who enjoys seeing the animals and playing in the play area. Much better since it has been done out and if you include the play area it's not bad vaklue for money. I do think the price shouldn't be so high for adults though. The tractor ride is good fun, but as I say,... More
