Cannon Hall Farm is a large, family run farm attraction. Sitting in the rolling Pennine foothills, it's home to hundreds of animals, waiting to welcome you to a world of animal magic. Home to one of the biggest and best equipped playgrounds in the north of England and the largest tube maze in Europe our adventure playground is one of the biggest and best in the north of England. The farm shop is famous for home produced beef, pork, lamb and a huge variety of sausages. Our on site bakery produces award winning pies and delicious artisan bread every morning. The tearoom serves delicious home cooked food. New for 2015, The Hungry Llama indoor play and restaurant adds a great indoor option with some dramatic slides and innovative play features to a day that's already packed with fun. Winner of Best Tourism Experience at The White Rose Awards in 2011, Cannon Hall Farm was highly commended in the same category in the Visit England Awards 2012. The farm won the New Innovation Award for it's new farmyard in the National Farms for Schools Awards 2015. The farm has been shortlisted for the Best Large Attraction Award at the White Rose Awards in both 2014 and 2015.

My son really enjoyed his trip to the farm (we all did). Great indoor and outdoor play areas with both separated and together play areas or different ages. Lots of covered animal barns if it is a wet day. Granny was thrilled she picked the winner in the sheep and ferret races! Tractor rides. Watched the cows being milked. It... More

Took teenagers for a day out as we used to take them when they were little, not been for a few years and whilst the farm and playgrounds have grown, so has the price to get in! The animals are now further away from you, so no petting or hand feeding like there used to be. Girls were disappointed by... More

Had a beautiful day out with the kids. Really interactive and geared to my kids (6 and under) who desperately wanted to go again after having gone there on a school trip. Plenty of play areas to break up the visit, and loads of hands on stuff to watch and participate in. Great price too!

Please bear in mind we are an older couple and it was a very wet day. Had it been dry and we had children I am sure they would have loved the play areas and tractor ride. The information provided relating to the varied breeds of cattle, goats, pigs etc was good and the barns, play areas are obviously very... More

We came to cannon hall farm a few years ago and found it OK and thought the food was the best part. We felt we were just popping out heads through barn doors and on a cold day it wasn't pleasant ! But we wanted to give it another try this year and it has changed tremendously. So much so... More

Went on a dry day which would make all the difference, took my daughter in law and 2 year old grandson. Loads to do and see, very educational and well run, staff always on hand who were informative and helpful. Thought the admission of £7.95 reasonable, we ate in the tea room and the meal was tasty and good value,... More

Decent price for the size of the farm & for what is included, like the tractor rides. Disappointed in what they called the petting area, which was no more than 1 Rabbit and 1 Guinea Pig sat on a table, was expecting something more than that. Good facilities on site, including hand washing stations and a cafe, though there is... More

We have been coming to the farm since my daughters were small they are now 19 and 16 and still love coming for a day out to the farm. Because the farm is always been updated there is always something new to see.

Awesome place, been several times over the years as the kids have been growing up, easily spend several hours there looking at all the animals and it is relatively cost effective. Very well run
