This fascinating museum has a 10 minute video in numerous languages detailing the history of Saipan and the Northern Marianas as well as in depth historical displays focused primarily on the island's role in WWII. We spent a couple of hours there. Great break from the sun or a rainy day activity.

Learned a lot about the WWII history of Saipan. Great displays in few languages. They'll also show a very informative 20 minute film to sum it all up. Great history lesson!

Very nicely maintained and appointed. NONE of the commercialism seen around other places such as this. NOT glamorized or devalued. Actually, very impressed that what I saw is what many saw during WWII! The movie documentary is outstanding. The whole park is FREE! A very professional tour guide inside the museum. A "must see!"

The Park has memorials to those who fell and a facility with a movie and exhibits about Saipan at the... More

This review is quite late. The American Memorial Park was built in honor of the Americans and local folks who died during the World War II. The American flag can be seen flying proudly on top of a lofty pole above four other flags.

The best building in Saipan. But it also tell the visitors that the pain given by war. Memorial museum is small. The most part is a theater. And you can buy some special edition lighter of Zippo.
