Thank you for your long review. We always appreciate feedback - whether it be positive or not. I have reviewed your video and your partners video and will address your issues: I have timed your free-fall and it was exactly 60 seconds. It does not feel like that long to some people during the jump, but that is normal due... More

It has been a week since we've returned from New Zealand but I find myself still reeling from the experience with skydive franz! The staff were very patient and assuring despite having done this thousands of times. I especially liked how they attend to our anxiety and fear. My instructor Taka is an experienced skydiver and I feel safe jumping... More

We went for it at 7:30 in the morning. It was cloudy when we went to the office but by the time we reached the location sun came through. Jumping higher then mount Cook is wow! Also nice, when booking with them they take people over 100 KG (though you pay more), this is not done at a lot of... More

I had always wanted to skydive in New Zealand and I'm so glad we did it here! My friend and I had both been skydiving before, but the 19,000 foot jump gave us a new thrill (I previously had done 13,500 and she had done 15,000 ft) and a nice long freefall (I think close to 90 seconds?). The scenery... More

This was my second skydive in New Zealand (previously I have done 15,000 feet jump over Lake Taupo) so this time naturally I had to go higher. I was surprised to find out they were doing 19,000 feet for a price of a 15,000 feet jump in Queenstown. So immediately I went for it. And it was amazing!! To start... More

My friend had come all the way from England to visit me and one of the main activities we wanted to do together is a skydive. We planned our trip around it. After we booked and paid for our skydive at Franz Josef and got to the airfield to get ready we were then told that we were not able... More

Thank you for your review. It's occasionally necessary to separate people travelling together. But our own statistics tell us that it only happens rarely (less than 5% of the time). We make every effort to ensure friends and family can be together, but as you mentioned in your review, there were 3 groups of friends out there and we had... More

Did a 16000 ft dive with Franz Josef as my first skydive. We had unbelievably good weather, something that I've heard is not all that common in the area. Check in was smooth, you sign the legal waiver, decide what mediapack you want to purchase (expensive but really skilled photographers and incredible photos) and get weighed. Franz Josef seems to... Thanks for the review. We're very disappointed that you thought we were rushing around too much after your jump. We actually pride ourselves on the fact that we are a smaller company and we only take 9 people out to the drop zone at a time to jump. Most of our comments are the absolute opposite to yours, especially from... More
