It was an amazing tour. Our guide was really cool and knowledgeable. We had a great time on ice. The helicopter ride was cool too. You can see waterfall and the glacier from above. Experience of a lifetime. We recommend it by far !

Such an amazing experience! We had our experienced guides take us on an adventure up the glacier giving us options along the way of exploring uncharted areas and directing the group. Safety was always their priority along the way. The tour extended past its allocated time period making sure we got to climb through as many ice caves as possible... More

It is a review like this that gives us such satisfaction to know we have successfully shared the environment we have the privilege of operating in. To say your time with us was "an incredible experience that you will remember for the rest of your lives" is plain and simply humbling. Thank you very much for taking the time to... More

We chose the fox it up ice climbing adventure. We were so excited because the previous days tours were cancelled and the following day did not look good weather wise either. However our day was perfect!! We had sun and very few clouds. The helicopter ride was amazing! Our guide was awesome and so knowledgable. The ice climbing was definitely... More

What great timing dodging the changeable weather that seemed to be around before and after your trip, well done! We're also glad to hear that you learnt a lot from your guide and your experience was unforgettable - high five! Thanks for taking the time to review us. So ok, it was awesome to see a glacier and go on the glacier but not for the price. I had been corresponding with Fox Glacier regarding their Helihike Climb Adventure and I believe that the experience was misrepresented. Turned out to be an ice climb tutorial on the same spot all day instead of the adventure it was represented... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your review of your trip. We were very concerned to read that you felt that your trip was misrepresented as this would not be our intention. Because you have also called your trip a "Helihike Climb Adventure" has us also wondering whether some confusion has arisen as we either have the Flying... More

On the full day (6hrs) guided tour, friendly and often good looking guides lead the way to the magical platform in the colour of blue and white. Longer and adventurous tracks are challenging yet, the view at the end of the journey is divine.

My wife and I did one of the trips up onto the ice (wearing crampons and all the clothing provided), and it was outstanding. This is a trip you will remember forever.

A big thanks to Kirsten (our guide) and the entire team at Fox Glacier Guiding for taking us for the trip of a lifetime onto Fox Glacier. The day was perfect, the helicopter flight was quick and over a little too soon but once we put the crampons on we where off for the next 3 hours climbing up and... More

After a rushed start to the morning due to miscommunication of the start time from the tourist office we boarded the helicopter to Fox glacier. The helicopter ride was fantastic and my partner even sat in the front seat on the return journey. Once on the glacier we fitted our crampons and waiting for the other members of the group... More

Up early for our Flying Fox helihike at 7.50am. Kitted out in boots, hats and gloves we were bussed to the helipad, divided into 4 groups of 5 and transferred to the glacier face with our guides. There we were divided into two groups of 10 and our guide was Passang Sherpa (from Nepal no less!) We put on crampons... More
