The Fox Glacier Guiding's Flying Fox Heli-Hike is an absolute must-do while in New Zealand! This was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had and it beyond exceeded my expectations! The helicopter ride up gives you a breathtaking view of the glacier and is a fabulous start to the trip. Once on the glacier the staff guide... More

It was lovely to read that you and your daughter thought our Fox Trail: Terminal Face Walk was a highlight of your New Zealand trip. It is certainly nice to have the differences between taking the public track or a guided walk defined by our visitors. We were also glad to hear that overall you thought the trip was value... More

My younger daugher (15 years) and I did a guided walk to the face of Fox Glacier on 23 September 2014. It was well worth the additional money joining a guided walk, as you go off the public track down towards the river and along to the glacial face. The guide was knowledgable and pleasant. An amazing experience!

I did the Heli Hike two days ago and the trip was awesome! I would love to say, walking on the Glacier is very different from just seeing the Glacier terminal. So highly recommended if you would like to spend a little bit more to take the heli and walk on the glacier after see the glacier terminal. The other... More

I was completely impressed, from start to finish, with the efforts of the entire Fox Glacier Guiding team! The day started off with a short, pre-tour briefing that informed participants about what to expect, assisted with getting outfitted for crampons, and then shuttled us via bus to the car park / starting point for our trek. We were told that... More

Our family just returned from the full day ice-climb and all of us rated the entire experience 10 out of 10. Our guide Dean was absolutely superb, totally professional in all he did from initial introductions and safety message to entry into the helicopter and worked tirelessly the whole day setting our rope anchors and helping us explore all that... What can we say but thank you for the perfect 10, very humbling although we do feel very privileged to be able to operate in such a special environment which sets "the scene". Thank you also for your positive comments about Dean, it's always so nice for our people to get acknowledged personally for what they do. You clearly appreciate... More

We recently did the Flying Fox Helihike on Fox Glacier, and WOW! It was great to see that they had an extensive refund policy, in case you don't get the full experience or time on the ice you hope. Luckily we had a spectacular day with Chen Chen and Finn, experiencing crevasses, tunnels and other amazing features of the glacier.... More

We recently did the Heli Hike onto Fox Glacier. What an experience! We had amazing weather on the day of our trip which made the day even more special. The helicopter ride alone was awesome but once we arrived on the glacier and got our gear on to start trekking around the day just got better. Our guide was awesome... More

Our heli-hike on Fox Glacier was absolutely the highlight of our trip! We got super lucky on the day and had beautiful weather. The whole experience was just amazing, the helicopter ride was awesome, the guide was great and the scenery was beautiful. We were originally booked in for a terminal glacier walk but were very glad we paid the... More

Did this attraction as part of our holiday. Was a half day hike but I wish we had chosen a longer trip. Had a great guide...very informative and comprehensive in his guiding. Apart from some older clanky buses I would totally recommend!

We visited Fox Glacier as part of our honeymoon, and Fox Glacier Guiding made it the best part of an already amazing trip to New Zealand. Visiting at the beginning of the season, we had a very small tour group-only four of us, plus two guides. We took the half-day hike (apparently not available this coming season, unfortunately), which was... More
