We recently did the Flying Fox Helihike on Fox Glacier, and WOW! It was great to see that they had an extensive refund policy, in case you don't get the full experience or time on the ice you hope. Luckily we had a spectacular day with Chen Chen and Finn, experiencing crevasses, tunnels and other amazing features of the glacier.... More

We recently did the Heli Hike onto Fox Glacier. What an experience! We had amazing weather on the day of our trip which made the day even more special. The helicopter ride alone was awesome but once we arrived on the glacier and got our gear on to start trekking around the day just got better. Our guide was awesome... More

Our heli-hike on Fox Glacier was absolutely the highlight of our trip! We got super lucky on the day and had beautiful weather. The whole experience was just amazing, the helicopter ride was awesome, the guide was great and the scenery was beautiful. We were originally booked in for a terminal glacier walk but were very glad we paid the... More

Did this attraction as part of our holiday. Was a half day hike but I wish we had chosen a longer trip. Had a great guide...very informative and comprehensive in his guiding. Apart from some older clanky buses I would totally recommend!

We visited Fox Glacier as part of our honeymoon, and Fox Glacier Guiding made it the best part of an already amazing trip to New Zealand. Visiting at the beginning of the season, we had a very small tour group-only four of us, plus two guides. We took the half-day hike (apparently not available this coming season, unfortunately), which was... More

When we were in the area we hadn't really planned to do the Fox Glacier but when we got there the weather was soo beautiful we decided it would be worth the Helihike up to the top of the glacier. And how right we were, not only was the helicopter great fun, but once on the ice there was lots... More

Thanks for taking the time to review Fox Glacier Guiding and we were happy to read that your time with us was the highlight of your trip. Walking deep into a twisting, blue crevasse at varying widths is an other world experience. You also sounded like you had fun with the sensation wearing crampons brings - you certainly got the... Weather was perfect for the day of my friend and I's helihike. We booked over the phone two days previously and paid the $399 before we set off on the day we flew out. We were bused out to the helipad and got outfitted with equipment - I had my waterproof jacket and gloves which came handy for later! The... More

Took the 850 helihike with Kat as our guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and very enthusiastic. The walk itself was fun and the sights were great. The ?ice canyon walk at the end was highly enjoyable and was unfortunately it was rather short If you're willing to pay $399 NZD for this trip, the experience is a good one. Definitely... More
