Stopped off at Buller Gorge on our way to Nelson to have a bit of fun on our trip around the South Island . Great decision to do the jet boat. Mark was great fun and gave us lots of information about the Gorge and surrounding area. Mark gave us lots of spins in the boat and we certainly didn't... More

We joined Deta,an Austrian tourist ,on a stunning afternoon boating experience. Mark is a very cool guy with a great personality. He ensures that passengers are in their comfort zone and I felt very safe. He is a very skilled driver and a great historian and environmental educator. The scenery was amazing and we also saw the migrating eels. Deta... More

Not for the faint-hearted. We are an older couple & at $105 each (that includes the swing bridge fee) we had thrills aplenty. Mark makes you feel at home & checks go see if you can handle all the excitement. His local knowledge is excellent & the scenery is stunning. Mark arranges photo opportunities & supplies a plastic bag to... More

We were looking for the most bang for our buck and we were not disappointed! In fact we left feeling like we received so much more. Mark was wickedly funny and a great skipper. His knowledge of the area and the history made the time in between spins very interesting and educational. His passion for the area and his work... More

Mark (driver/manager) was informative, accommodating, personal & funny as we enjoyed the Buller River. We experienced the thrill of jet boating, learnt about the river, in fact we had the river to ourselves & we didn't have to fight the crowds - just a group of 6. Well worth it & value for money!

We chose to do the jet boat ride here rather than at Queenstown and as I've never done the Queenstown one, can't compare. However this was smashing. The trip started with a walk across a very long suspension bridge into a forest nature reserve and then an exciting ride with Mark on the Buller. Frequent 360 spins left us a... More

We had reservations initially cause it wasn't one we had heard about and it was a smaller one. Fortunately we decided to give it a go. Highly worth it. Mark was a great guy. Funny and great

We had such a great time on the gorgeous Buller River with our cool, skilled and friendly skipper Mark. If you're searching for a jet boat ride where you're not treatet like one of thousands of tourists go for a trip here. The mix of Speed, Information, landscape and individuality is perfect and the spins are countless :D. If you... More

Unlike a recent reviewer who obviously has not taken a previous jet boat ride, we have, and this was a genuinely great ride on a fantastic stretch of river. Mark clearly loves the river, and is very familiar with it. The safety briefing was thorough, and Mark took enormous trouble in ensuring that everyone knew what to expect over the... More
