Forget the rest marks the best We went to hammer springs and Queenstown and then the Buller and it was by far the best and to have such a great local guide who actually knew all the ins and outs of the place and history. Mark was very accommodating for my partner who was on crutches proving anyone can do... More

Exciting, fantastic, marvelous... and we learnt a lot of things about the Buller River. One experience we won't forget.

Only boat on the river to enjoy exhilarating rapids and 360 turns. Mark, although quietly mindful of safety, gave a thrilling display of skilful handling of a powerful jet boat, skimming her across the surface. An opportunity to admire the stunning scenery from the water, while Mark told us about the surrounding history, with a cheeky grin and personality. Definitely... More

Forget Queenstown this is the Jet Boat to do. Mark the tour guide was possibly the best tour guide We've ever had, for anything just so joyful, friendly, fun, and not in a cheesy way like some. We found Buller Gorge by accident but it became one of the highlights of our honeymoon

The river itself is a surprise as was powerfully flowing and yet when we stopped mid river to look at the bush it was remarkably peaceful. The ride is not... More

Mark, the skipper of the jet boat, makes a fun experience even better with his anarchic style of humour and very personable manner - not to mention his considerable professionalism. Much has been written about the trip itself so I won't repeat what others have said, however, be prepared for an 'all round' experience.....this will become clear if you are... More

"A jet boat on the road" between the east and west coast of South island new zealand. An ideal stopover during a long and nice trip. The activity is safe and wel organized. You are "sailing" quickly in nice and clean gorge. The security is optimal. Only one thing ake care for the flies you need repellent

We had a great trip with Mike on the Buller Canyon Jet. Just like being out with a mate on a jet boat. The best fun! Cheers Penrose Family

Had a great day out with Mark today! He is so knowledgeable about the local area and such a skilled driver who managed to have both my daughter and myself relaxed by the end of it!
