It's fun on demand at Rainbow's End so how will you play it? With over 20 rides and attractions, there's something for everyone, every day of the year except Christmas Day. The brand new ride, Stratosfear, at Rainbow's End is now open. It is seriously scary with a complete 360 degree rotation to challenge even the most seasoned thrill seeking ride enthusiasts. This ride is a first in the Southern Hemisphere, seats 30 people and with the complete 360 it's one of only 4 worldwide! Spin vertically and horizontally, suspended 18m high on the Power Surge, be trapped in a runaway mine cart, or Fear Fall 18 storeys at 82km/hr! Defy gravity on New Zealand's only corkscrew roller coaster or ride the Log Flume with its dramatic water chute plunge. The brand new Kidz Kingdom is also now open at Rainbow's End! The ultimate place to visit for children 8 years and under and the best birthday venue ever! With Magic and Illusion shows from Andre Vegas on weekends and school holidays, it's definitely a full day of entertainment for everyone at Rainbow's End! Open Daily 10am - 5pm, only closed Christmas Day. Rainbow's End is the best place for weekend fun, kids birthday parties and spending some fun time with your family and friends! You deserve it! You pay one entry price which covers all your rides as many times as you like! If you work that out per ride it is really amazing value for the best day out. Only 20 mins from the CBD we are conveniently located with loads of free parking. See you soon at Rainbow's End!

Although I ended up feeling sick from all the rides I loved rainbows end!! The rides (when I wasn't close to passing out) were so much fun and I had a great time! I also want to mention the man who was in charge of the roller-coaster ride on May 16th (Saturday) was very friendly and helpful.

Great day with the family and friends, it was a shame that the log flume was closed but we had fun on the other rides (although I'm too chicken and was mostly the photographer) Bumper boats, the invader, rollercoaster, gold rush the dodgems and the motion master were all fabulous, also the kids area is great, we were there for... My daughter granddaughter and I went in April. My granddaughter who is 5 1/2 is in a wheel chair and there are often very few rides that she can go on. But.... Rainbows End has the Kidz Kingdom which was absolutly perfect. We spent hours in there while she went on every ride twice. We also went on the Log... More

As someone who just loves going to theme parks , Rainbows end was a blast. The new stratosphere ride takes everything to a new level. Doesn't have the crazy rollercoasters you would find in lets say a big American theme park, but it does provide the small bits of adrenaline rush that people often crave. Its good fun, good rides.... No matter what you do before and after, all the kids will be concerned about is the part of the day that you spend at Rainbow's End. Surprising how everyone in New Zealand seems to have been there-adults have been there are children and children dream about going there and returning there again and again. I wished there were more rides to go on, been there over 5 times and nothing new lately. Love that the lines aren't that bad though. All in all a fun place to take your kids!

I took two friends (aged 23 and 25) who had never been to a theme park to Rainbows End and they loved it! It was also great for me, having been before, to go on the newer rides (the Stratosphere and the Invader). Fantastic mix of leisure, fear and fun - a great day had by all. There is something...
