Excellent value for money. Beautiful day. 90 Mile Beach was amazing. The sand dunes were the biggest sand dunes I have ever seen. Cape Rienga was awesome - the views of the nearby bays and the pacific/tasman sea were fantastic. The driver was informative and funny throughout the journey. Lunch was great - especially for the cost - and we... More

The Cape trip was recommended to me by a friend who had recently done it. The whole trip up and back was great with interesting commentary. Doing the same trip by car would not have got us to the places we went or the local knowledge so it was with great pleasure I sat in the cab all the way... More

We drove to the depot to pick up the tour and it was really easy to find; also an 8:45 beginning allowed us to drive from Paihia in ample time. So many fun things to see and do. Firstly driving 90km up the beach is a blast. Along the way we slowly went past some of the local wildlife: birds,... More

Taking in on a golf buggy, all going in a single file, there are several shops for photo shoots. Ideal for all wages and no walking involved for those with limited mobility.

Harrisons provided a wonderful real-kiwi northland experience. We traveled to the Cape and back in a powerful Foden truck with a history in the Kaitaia dairy industry, repurposed by Harrisons who have designed and purpose-built bus seating which provided excellent all round views. Northland locals Simon (our humble guide for the day providing insights into the area) and Waru (our... More

We really wanted to get up to the northernmost point of New Zealand, and we found this comapny to do it with. For $50 you got an all day bus ride there and back, complete with a sandwich/chip/lemonade and dessert lunch and a stop to get ice cream (you pay). The bus was very nice and newly renovated and the... More

We were picked up from Wagener's Holiday Park at Houhora Heads by the Harrisons bus, and on return later in the day collected from 90 Mile Beach by staff from Wageners. The day out included entertaining and informative commentary from our driver/guide; plenty of time at the cape to walk to the lighthouse and back; a light lunch and drink;... More
