We were lucky to have a perfect day - picked up at the RSA in Kaikohe at 9am and returned just before 5pm. The driver, Simon, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and local stories. We had stops at Rarawa Beach and Tapotupotu Bay (where we were given a simple picnic lunch all included in the very reasonable... More

This trip is well run and covers all areas/activities of the far North you need to cover ( without having to drive around yourself .) Costing $50 is cheap as, lunch was yummy and Simon our driver great. This is a smaller bus so you get to know most people, not at all like the bigger buses that seemed rushed... More

We did the Cape run with Harrisons this month. The drive had a very good knowledge off the area and history which made the trip very enjoyable. As for the price at $50 per head I don't know how they do it. I work highly recommend using this Company should you what to do the Cape run.

I agree with the other reviewers as this is a great day out. $50 pp is great value. Jason the guide was very entertaining and informative. A very professionally run day. The only real way to see the 90 mile beach. Sand tobogganing was also a treat. A basic lunch is supplied. Take your own extra water, though drinks are... More

This had to be the best value trip/tour I've ever done. A full day, entertaining guide, make do lunch and huge ice cream, not to mention 90 Mile Beach and Cape Reinga where the Tasman Sea meets the Pacific Ocean. Jason was our guide for the day - a fabulous Kiwi bloke committed to the far North, the cape and... More

Best value day out. Up the 90 mile beach to cape reinga and return via beaches and Tip Top ice cream. Driver Simon shared fun commentary and kept us amused. Sand toboggan was brilliant too. Lunch provided too.

Really enjoyed our trip with Robyn up to Cape Reinga. His local knowledge really added to the trip and meant we found out info we would never have known if we went alone. It was a busy, fun, full day out with lots of breaks at amazing spots. Loved the sand dunes, although a first aid kit might be a... More

This trip is one of the best that we have done in NZ. Great value for money, it really is a full day out which gives you a variety of experiences along the way. Simon was a wealth of knowledge and added to the fun with his jokes and singing....we really learnt a lot, enjoyed the commentary and amazing scenery.... More
