I love old theatres like this one and I was glad to see it's been saved and restored. It's a great mid sized theatre with comfortable seats and good sound. We were there for the folk festival and saw a couple of acts there. It was a hot day outside and the ac felt really nice too! They are currently... More

I love this venue. Small so that you avoid the large crowds, but still gets big/great acts. Renovated in recent years so very comfortable. Lots of seat room. Great sound. Plenty of parking in the area - garage or street. Lots of nightlife and restaurants in the area for before or after the show.

Saw Tedeschi-Trucks Band at the Z. Great sized venue. Beautiful old theater. The seats were large and comfortable.

This wonderful old theater is something that you must see if you want a great show in a great venue. The Z offers everything from music concerts to plays and everything in between. It's a marvelous "hidden gem" in the city and I'm proud that it's survived for so long.

I have been going to the Z since it opened. It has improved its variety of programs every year since. Something for everyone, and much more reasonable than Boston or Providence.

We have had so many great entertainment experiences here with good seats everywhere, even in the last row. The varied programs offer programs for everyone of all ages. Nice theatre. Worth a visit for a nice night out.

This was an old theatre slated for demolition but saved and renovated. It has the classic touches no longer found in newer theatres and offers fine acoustics and comfortable seating. The seats from about row 20 back are wider and softer than those further forward. It is the home of the New Bedford Symphony, a great orchestra under David Mackensie... More

I have been going to the Z for some time and would recommend it as a venue. It is best to get a center seat. The selection of performances is always excellent.

This was originally built in the 20's as a grand place to show films.. It was purchased by an local group to restore it to its grandeur and has a great variety of attractions.\ Check it out!

I go to the NBSO and other performances at the "Z" and it is a wonderful old theater. The chairs in the front are not the most comfortable so I would recommend the ones in the back middle. They have wonderful shows and the NBSO is as good a symphony as any large city.
