Beautiful Beach

This beach is just a short walk down from Wailea beach and much less crowed.. It has the softest sand and the current is very calm. Just a beautiful view of paradise.

We've experienced lots of Maui's beaches and this is still one of our top 5! Great for newbie snorkelers (easy entry, lots of fish and coral to see in 3 feet of water), and more advanced (go out further, lots to see). Also great for swimming and all the usual beach stuff. We feel this is one of the more... More

Great for snorkeling or beginner scuba. Beautiful beach to watch sunrise and sunset. Close to easy parking at The Shops at Wailea.

This is one of the best beaches on Maui to enjoy snorkeling and a sandy beach. The beach is made out of soft sand, same when you actually walk into the water, so you don't need beach shoes. There is some good snorkeling along the reef, whith lots of fish, including Picasso trigger fish, some pufferfish, a big school of... More

This is a lovely little beach, with good facilities and limited parking, so you need to arrive early. The snorkeling is decent, the sand is lovely, and the surf is moderate. Overall, a very pleasant place to spend the morning.

Of all the spots to snorkel in the Wailea and Kihei area that we tried this was by far the best. Nice drop off spot to unload the car before parking. The reef goes way out and around to the right of the beach and has beautiful coral and many fish to observe. It can get crowded so go early.... More

We went several times here to snorkel after we did a two tank dive. The shallow side of the reef seemed bleached and unhealthy (we had to tell several people to stop standing on the coral). However, the reef looked a lot better as you got further from shore. We saw a lot of interesting sea life here (turtles, Octopi,... More

This was our favorite beach my husband and I went to on our honeymoon in October. We went in the late afternoon after beach hopping all day down the south coast and came upon this one in Wailea. Its a nice size, not too big and wasn't too busy either. Waves were perfect that day for boogie boarding and the... More

Get there either from the beach or d'ornement Kalahana drive from Wailea Alanui drive, free parking just above the park, restrooms and great showers for snorkler or dive-gear rinsing, exquisite family beach & reef.

I stayed at Wailea Alanui. This beach was beautiful and very long for walking and running. Lots of snorkeling. Rough water if you get out too far, but wonderful experience!
