Ulua bBach is between the Andaz Hotel (amazing) and Wailea Elua Condominiums. Great parking lot with restrooms and showers. get there early on the weekends if you want to walk the Wailea beach Walk in front of the hotels (amazing walk - 1.5 miles down and back. Worth every step!!! I walk it almost every night!

While tiny, this beach offers great snorkeling by the north end. Go early to avoid the crowds, but definitely a nice morning!

Second beach in Wailea. Also very close to the Marriott but we found the beach to be small and there were too many rocks on the beach - didn't make the experience great!

Great place to snorkel. Go early while wind is down for best snorkeling. Saw many eels and several turtles. Recommend highly.

Only a 30 minute ride from Paia. Ulua is a great family beach. We arrived at 9:15 on a Sunday and the parking lot was already 1/2 full. When we left at noon people were waiting for a parking spot. The beach isn't very wide and the water reaches well up the sand during high-tide. Follow the lead from the... More

Great place to play in the water, snorkel, boogie board (for beginners), build sand castles, and generally just relax. Parking was not an issue in late August, and the beach wasn't too crowded. I wish we had gone to this beach at the beginning of the trip instead of waiting until the end. We would have visited many more days... More

For twenty years I would get up extra early to make sure I got a parking space to be able to snorkel at Ulua Beach. The variety of fish and the reef was unmatched for easily accessible beauty. It broke my heart to see the reef covered with pencil urchins , it's still pretty but your not going to have... More

This wide sandy beach is a great place to introduce your young children to the beach. Almost always calm waves break gently with a long/deep beach that doesn't drop off quickly or unexpectedly anywhere. The water is usually clear and there is a great reef extending out 100-200 yards on the right side of the beach that is perfecting for... More

Came here after some locals told us that it is a good place to snorkel, and it surprisingly had quite a large reef! The water was calm and there were tons of beautiful fish, and the coral was beautiful to look at. The beach was soft sand, but a bit busier due to it being right beside a few resorts.

I wish we had gone to the beach early in our 11 day stay. We waited until the last day to venture to the southern beaches and chose this one. We found a parking spot by riding around and waited for someone to leave as we went here around 11am. We should have been here earlier because the beach was... More
