This beach is so nice and within walking distance from the Marriott. We had a great time here and the snorkeling was great!

Within walking distance to the Marriott's - perfect sand, good swimming and snorkling and really good for a nice long walk on the beach. EVERY beach in Maui needs to be as good as Ulua Beach. Even when it was crowded, it wasn't TOOO crowded. We had a great time snorkling on both ends of the beach, and when the... More

This place is tricky to find, but easy once you know where to turn off. Perfect for beginner snorkeling, or just splashing around. We take our beach chairs, and they have a convenient outside shower to remove beach sand before you get your car. Plan on spending about 2 to 3 hours on this fun beach. Not much surf so... More

This may have been our favourite beach on Maui. It is not large but it is great for families as the parking (which can be limited) and the facilities are close by the beach. The snorkelling here was very good. The sand was the hottest I have every felt!!

Water was super clear. Great view of reef and dozens of fish. Spent the entire time in the water. No major waves, nice and calm.

When you picture a Hawaiian beach in your mind, it's Ulua Beach you're picturing! What a golden stretch of sand and water!! There's everything you could want in one location. Don't hesitate to spend a day at this Maui gem.

This was our first time to Ulua beach and we will be back. There is a large paved parking lot. We went there two times and both times there was parking available. It is clearly marked on the road so it is easy to find. There are places to sit in the shade if you want a break from the... More

We liked this location was so close to our resort. It was very clean and easy access to some amazing snorkeling. It seems the beach establishes a tent city of sorts on the northernmost part of the beach. There is limited shade so definitely come prepared - especially if are too late to stake out a spot under the trees!

Good parking but get there early. Mellow snorkeling beach with coral and lots of fish. Saw a turtle as well. In front of hotel so access to some services and drinks.

When the waves are up on the west side of the island making the trip down here is always worth it. Great little beach, parking is tight and fills up fast. Snorkel on the right side in the morning before the trades come up and murk everything up.
