Beautiful paved walkway that runs along the back of the resorts in Wailea, right along the shore. Great views of the ocean, the waves crashing on the lava rocks and the West Maui Mountains and Lanai off in the distance. Don't expect this to be deserted, it is a very heavily used path by walkers and joggers. It's very handy... More

This is a nice trail for walking with views of the beach and ocean. However, it is very narrow so don't expect to walk beside a companion and have a conversation. The trail is just wide enough for single walkers/joggers. Even passing another walker is hard due to the narrow path. It's also not lit nicely at evening. Too bad.... More

Main path that connects all the hotels, great view of the Ocean the entire walk. Makes it very easy to get around from hotel to hotel.

Lots of fun walked every morning and evening. Sunsets are beautiful. It gets pretty dark on the trail after sunset. The views are amazing and you don't have to walk in the sand but very close to the beach.

We stayed in Kihei and used this trail for part of our walk to the Shops at Wailea to pick up ice cream at Lappert's or cookies at Honolulu Cookies. Concrete pathway that runs by all the nice hotels. Used by locals and tourists to access the beaches, enjoy the sunset, or get in some exercise. Wish it were longer!... More

Beautiful views. Great family activity. Good exercise. Me, wife, two children 6 and 10, and Grandma 78, enjoyed it very much.

Great morning or sunset walk between the resorts. It is nice to stop and swim. It is like a park or garden not very wild. Lots of birds and sea creatures to look for. It is a great walk for everyone.

My husband and I visited the boardwalk in the evening. It was very peaceful and the sunset was gorgeous. We saw lots of shorebirds. It was lovely.

This does take you along the resorts in Wailea, but there are gorgeous views of the ocean along most of the path. Don't expect a typical hike in nature here. This is more like a path in a really large park -- the gardens are all manicured here, and there will be people in most places. It can get crowded... More

This is a gorgeous walk/hike that anyone would enjoy. It doesn't take you into the wilderness, but it gives you beautiful views of the rocky northwest coastline. We were lucky to see a while bunch of huge sea turtles feeding in one of the rocky coves. We wished we hade brought bathing suits, because several of the coves along the... More
