Start at any of the public beach entries and begin your walk. Bring a bottle of water as it gets warm. Select your desired pace. It does get a bit congested at times with people going in both directions. Most people are respectful and polite. Bring a camera for memories of the views in all directions. Bring a swim suit... This path skirts the wailea coastline and is planted with native varieties of bushes, flowers etc. They are all shown on a display board at the start, so you can identify as you go along. The sea is just by you as you walk at the top of the lavae rock cliffs. The surf breaks over the rocks if it... More

If you are looking for a nice, low-key walk, this is a good one. You can walk past many beaches and all the oceanfront hotel properties in Wailea. It is paved the whole way and suitable for strollers.

The views were fanatastic and the walk very easy and enjoyable. It could be crowded especially in the morning and late afternoons.

I wish I had known about this beach path earlier in our stay as this is a great way to see many of South Maui's beaches without having to drive and find a parking space. This trail is a paved scenic trail which runs from the South Maui beaches Keawakapu Beach all the way to Poolenalena Beach (with Mokapu, Ulua,... More

Scenic, paved and beautiful. We walked the pathway at around 5 PM, stopped and sat on the beach around 5:45 to enjoy a gorgeous sunset. Wish we'd found this walk sooner.

We used this trail daily to visit other hotels nearby for lunch and dinner. Also made it so easy to visit adjacent beaches or just for a stroll

Do not miss this paved walk right along the oceans edge. One can walk quite a distance and see so many exceptional views..remember access comes at various points in Wailea..

I keep coming back to Wailea specifically for this 1.5 mile each way paved walking path along the coast. The path passes by several different beaches and resorts and is popular with visitors and locals alike. No bikes or dogs are allowed, and it can sometimes be crowded. I usually make the walk two times a day while on the... More
