The water is so blue and the sunsets are breath taking. This area is like a piece of paradise...every day! One looks out over the ocean and can see mountains as well.

Super-fine brown sand, palm trees, waves crashing in, jagged black rocks around the far ends. Just what one pictures with Hawaiian beaches. Great to stroll up/down the beachfront sidewalk/path.

We chose this beach because of the calm waters for our snokling. Easy for the novice to enter and get their fins on. Wasn't crowded when we were there as some of the other surfing beach area. Beautiful, relaxing spot.

Warm waters slight winds with really clear waters after you get our about 10 feet. Very clean beach and such soft white sand even when your out about 25 feet. No real rocks on your feet. Very swim-able and great snorkeling section by the south side near the rocks plenty of sea turtles. Great for walks and couples and families.... More

We were staying in Kihei, a 5 minute drive away. We were told to go to this beach because it has calm waves. My girlfriend is not a great snorkler and she needed to feel calm to get in. This was the perfect beach with the right kind of waves! We saw a huge variety of fish. Someone said they... More

Nothing really special here. There are many more interesting beaches elsewhere with safe and friendly folk.

Great beach for swimming as the water is clean, calm and clear with the softest sand underfoot. Lots of people snorkelling with plenty of fish and sea turtles enjoying the beach too.

Nice sand, beautiful view, good snorkeling off to the right hand side of the beach. Sunsets and views of Molokini from this area are outstanding and you can clearly see whales during season.

Great beach and was not nearly as packed as we would have expected. Safe and clean beach. Close location to our resort and walking distance to most of the resorts on Wailea.
