An interesting experience

Quite a hike to get here but it was a unique experience. On Sunday nights they have drums and people dancing at sunset.

We wouldn't have believed unless we'd seen it with our own eyes. We hiked up through the lava rocks from Big Beach to Little Beach and had a little sneak peak at this nice little secluded beach only to be greeted by NUDITY! What a shame it is overtaken with nudity! The beach would be perfect for families to hang... More

Little Beach is a wonderful nude beach! Great for swimming, snorkeling and sunning. Access can be challenging for some, but worth it.

My husband loves this beach does time we go to Maui, we visit Makena State Park. Once there, you have a short hike to get to Little Beach. Because of recent storms, it isn't as easy to access as before but doable with tennis shoes. The main beach, Big Beach (no nudity) is also beautiful.

Little Beach is just north of Big Beach, on the Southwest end of Maui. It's known for its tolerance of nude sun bathing. It is a very pretty place, nicely secluded. To get to it, however, is not easy: It requires hiking along the water's edge over uneven lava rock, then up a steep incline. That accounts for why it's... More

What can you say about Little Beach?... it's the kind of place you hear about, but don't believe could actually exist! Bottom line... if you're adventurous and not easily offended (and don't have little kids with you)... check it out. I won't repeat everything that you need to know about getting there... just Google it. I will say that it's... More

It's a short hike across big beach and over a cliff (great view from the top) to get to little beach but we'll worth it. It's a beautiful soft white sand beach that is clothing optional, our first experience. No judegment, no pressure, just a bunch of people enjoying the beach at their own comfort level. There were families and... More

little beach is secluded apart from big beach, reputedly a nude beach it is as an exibitionist beach. upon entering you get the opportunity to pass a group of old guys showing off their wares. there are cool events that happen on the beach on sunday evenings. but you would not want to bring children.

Very cool beach. The whales swim by and there are lots of turtles in the surf. Great for photography but just don't point your camera towards the beach. Lots of nude sunbathers. Seems to be a place that is predominately gay. My brother is gay so I certainly don't mind but at times as a straight women....I felt I wasn't... More

It's hard to get to little beach which makes it great. People are friendly and more relaxed. If you don't want to be nude or like nudity, don't go. Sunday drum night now starts in the afternoon is can be fun.
