They have a popular magazine on Maui called "101 Things To Do In Maui". Well, we must add #102 - visit Little Beach, as an absolute must have experience. One cannot do more to embrace the true Maui aloha spirit than to shed all clothing and tan your buns and play in the surf. The water is clean, and the... More

No finer beach on Maui for those who like feel the ocean naturally! Secluded but relatively easy to get to for an able bodied person. Do wear water shoes or other thicker soles to climb the trail over to the beach. Please take care of rip tides as they can be deceiving at many Maui beaches.

The day we visited, it was packed with both clothed and nude people. I think it's meant to be the nude one but people just go anyway. It seemed like people here were in a party mood; there was a group playing drums and people were dancing and generally seemed to be having a good time. I must say, to... More

This is a walk worth taking. Park at big Mekena beach, when you get to the beach, to your right is a big lava flow, you have to hike over that to get to little beach. It is beautiful! Peaceful, the water is awesome, bring a raft. I wish I could have stayed there longer! Bring all you need and... More

Little beach is just adjacent to Big Beach and is just an amazing beach! Great water, no rocks and such diverse bohemian people. I go to this beach every time I go to maui! Its family friendly, gay friendly and just around a friendly and beautiful place to spend the day at the beach. Just a little hike up the... More

Bohemian and fun. Enjoy a beach that is "live and let live". Some nude folks but not a mandatory moment. Great sunset fun and views especially on weekends. Fire performers and music are a common surprise. Can be crazy but super fun! It is a small hike to the beach from the parking areas.

Great beach to hang out, enjoy the surf and and scenery. A bit of a hike, so know that it will take some time to get there. There is a bit of a climb up a ledge and takes some coordination and effort, but it is all worth it. The far end has some very nice shady areas if you... More

love this beach, best 'vibe' on the island. Its all about peace and love, you don't feel like its a nude beach and everyone's looking at you. Just wear your dark sunglasses':):) lots of very cool local's, all really friendly, and helpful. They welcome you in to sit and chat with their groups, as we watch the locals surf naked!... More

This was our first trip to a clothing optional beach and we were surprised by the characters that hung out here. It is definitively an experience and is a pretty quiet and secluded beach.

Beach was pretty and clean. Not much parking. Well monitored by life guard. Surf was strong and the continued warnings went out to beach goers. There was plenty of shade available to those who needed it too.
