Luaus are always fun and a great experience. And as a local Mauian I have attended many luaus, some multiple times. Te Au Moana, however, will test your limits. The venue is huge with many hundreds of attendees. I sat at a table more than 50 yards away from the stage with difficult visibility. The dancers and entertainment was mediocre,... More

The luau was very nice great food and drinks, the presentation of dancers, was just very beautiful, the hostess made you truly believe she loved the culture of the island and all the dancers really seemed to enjoy and love there presentation to the audience of guests, we enjoyed how they showed you the uncovering of the kahula Pig and... This was our first luau. The food was only average. The bar service was very limited. The show was what saved the evening for us. Entertainment was first rate.

This was the first attraction/event our family booked months before we left for Maui, and we were certainly not disappointed! We stayed at the Wailea Marriott Resort, and were happy with the short walk from our room to the luau grounds, which are beautifully maintained. The section of Wailea beach in which the luau takes place was certainly our families... More

This was very entertaining. Good for families of all kinds. They have games, demonstrations and artists showing different crafts. The food was decent. A lot of Hawaiian cuisine. It was nice to eat new foods. Open bar with very strong drinks is included with the price which was$115.00. I was disappointed in the leis. While they were pretty they had... More

Went with my wife. Very family oriented nice to meet some other people at a group table. Free drinks that started okay but after a bit got watery. Felt they were much stronger in the beginning. Had some different things going on before dinner of which we watched a guy prepare a coconut. Dinner was good had a variety of... More

The roasted pig was very good and tender though they apparently ran out of meat near the end of the buffet lines. Best to go early for a good seat, we were there before 4PM and there was already a line-up. No need to pay the extra for reserved seats since if you go early you can sit in the... More

Did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised about the organization. The staff was very polite and got us to our seats (we did premium) for 10.00 more per ticket and got seated in the front row of tables and got to go thru the line first. As for the show it was outstanding, the dancers and singers... More

This is an OK luau. There are some talented performers and its a good family experience. I liked that they provided some brief mini-shows for things like how they make coconut milk and some Hawaiian cultural games, etc. The location is ok with a view of the setting sun. This luau provides a different story from the one at the... More

We really enjoyed our night at the luau. The buffet food was very good, and everyone had plenty to eat and drink (including frozen drinks, which the kids loved). It was a big event, I think there were at least 300 people there, but we never felt crowded or rushed. Setting was beautiful, right on the water, and of course... More
