We were staying at The Andaz one resort from the Marriott where this luau takes place. An employee at the Andaz told us this was by far the best luau in Wailea. It didn't disappoint! It was a great show in a beautiful setting. Service was awesome, loved the crafters on site as well. The food was ok, not amazing... More

To be completely honest, we really struggled booking a luau while on a special holiday we took our family of five adults this month‎. My husband and I had done one at The Kaanapali Beach Hotel years ago and the Old Lahaina one more recently. With the sad state of our Canadian $ and after reading mixed reviews of both... More

The Luau was well organized and welcoming. Enjoyed the food and the show. The backdrop is the ocean and it was beautiful at sunset. I'd recommend getting there early in order to reserve a good table (though there really weren't any bad tables as all were in viewing sight of the elevated stage).

With a stunning ocean-view as a beautiful back-drop, this luau provides a wonderful experience. The luau buffet and entertainment were delightful. If you paid to be seated in one of the "preferred" tables, you will have a closer view of the ocean and the stage. Many attending guests came from other resorts, so this says a lot about this luau.... More

We enjoyed this luau. The venue is right on the water with a beautiful sunset to enjoy. We received leis upon arrival and could get our picture taken as well. They had a side area with a few native vendors with wares to sell or just talk with you about. You could watch the Kailua pig being brought out of... More

Our family enjoyed this luau at the Marriott. The food was tasty, the drinks were plentiful (and strong), and the entertainment was interesting and fun. Touristy? Probably - but for first-time visitors to Maui this was right up our alley.

The best thing about Marriott's luau is the setting. The sun setting over Molokini, Wailea Beach in the moonlight. Of course, you can have that for free if you like. The cocktails were legit. The entertainment was good, but not distinct. The food, self service buffet, was average, with no particularly outstanding selection. Of the dozen luaus I've attended over... More

As I was staying at the Wailea Marriott Resort during my vacation on Maui, the Te Au Moana Luau came highly recommended both by resort and non-resort sources that I researched. So I made plans to attend on the Monday evening of my stay. Normally, the luau occurs on a grass area with a stage featuring the ocean as a... More

Luau is very family friendly...it shows the culture of Polynesia with everything from hula to fire dancers...the only problem with luau's is that if you've seen one, there is no reason to see another.

Our group was looking forward to attending this luau for Thanksgiving. It was highly recommended by our hotel. At best, it was an okay experience, but certainly not worth the money we paid. We should have stayed at the hotel. What I liked: * Location - it's right by the beach. The sunset views are amazing. * Experience - the... More
