The show was good, the food was so-so. We paid extra for seating in the first 2 rows and it was worth it with 2 small children. It's something we thought we would do once but if we come back to Maui, it's nothing we're planning on doing.

A luau is a tourist trap but worth doing. The reason for the low stars was the fact the tiki carver was not there after we were promissed he would be there. We still do this one everytime we visit

Fabulous luau, great food - the dancing and music have a real Tahitian feel and sound but absolutely spectacular! A great choice, especially if you've been to a few Hawaiian luaus.

This was my first luau and I was not disappointed. The setting was great, with the ocean in the background & the sunset as the evening progressed. We arrived a bit early so we could get our choice of seating. It was rather hot so we claimed a table that was in the shade. There were several tables set up... More

Normally food at a Luau leaves something to be desired...The food at this one is very well prepared, the ceremony and the dance were engrossing. They have an option to pay more for priority seating in front of the stage, pay it!!! It makes a world of difference in the experience!

This was a very nice luau. Set with an ocean view, good buffet, nice show, some vendors with local crafts, ok drinks (open bar), all the luau necessities. Get there on time so you can get better seats. Its hot and sunny, so better seats don't necessarily mean up front. Opt for seats within the first half of the tables... More

We've never been to a luau before and we were anticipating that since it was a buffet the food would be mediocre. The food was great! We were really surprised by the quality and the variety was nice. The drinks that they were offering with the luau were mediocre, but that is to be expected with an open bar. The... More

We attended this Luau on Fri., July 25 and we all absolutely loved it. The location and grounds are just beautiful. There is a great variety of activities to do before the meal and performance. The food was wonderful and there was A LOT of it. There is a great variety and if people find fault with it then they... More

Ok so this was our first luau and it was a good experience. We would have preferred a little more intimate luau, if one exist? The show was OUTSTANDING! And the food was OK. I mean it is buffet style, outside, so how good can it be? The one downside would be the drinks... Probably the worse mai tai's I... More

This particular Luau has a lot going for it, and one you should consider if you are in Wailea. Here are some tips for you. If you book early do purchase VIP seating you will be closer to the performers. If VIP seats are booked you should still go. Arrive a full 15 to 20 minutes early, you will be... More
