The Luau was excellent. The kalua pork was the best on the buffet. I have never had roasted pork with so much flavor in every bite. The show was spectacular. It is worth the extra money for premium seating, and be sure to arrive 1 hour early to get in line as the best seats are given in order of... More

After reading many reviews and Old Lahaina Luau coming out as the luau to attend on Maui, we wondered if Te Au Moana would live up to our expectations. Pleased to report it did! The food, entertainment, company (there is 10 to a table and we were a couple sat with another couple and a family of six adults), service... More

We Have been to 2 previous Luau's in the past few years but this one beet them all by a long shot. Starting with the grounds of the Wailea Beach resort and the beautiful ocean as a back drop[p to the stage. The buffet was well organized and delicious with a long menu for every ones taste even gluten free... More

Being our first visit to Maui, of course we had to go to a luau. We were 4 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 12. SO happy we chose to go to this one! The food was absolutely delicious! They served the traditional roasted pig, along with several fresh salads and buns, vegetables, teriyaki steak, Hawaiian chicken, a fish... More

This was our first lua (husband and daughters 19 and 22). We went to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. My husband bought the tickets at Boss Frogs and got a bit of a discount. Our first choice was the Old Laina Lua but hubby was told it was booked months in advance. He was advised at Boss Frogs that we... More

It was our first time in Maui and of course one of the things people should definitely do is a luau. Most of my friends told me about Old Lahaina Luau, but I couldn't come to pay close to a $100 for my 3.5 year old who is so picky with food. So I asked around and then someone told... More

My first recommendation is to make sure you don't make plans to go to the Luau on the first day on island...we stayed at the Marriott and thought it would be a perfect welcome to Maui... we ended up with some issues with our room and were not even in our room by 4:30 on the day we checked in... Good food, the pork was really yummy! We were there for our 50th anniversary, they took a really nice picture that we are having enlarged. It wasn't a huge cast production, but it was done well. Music was great, narrator had a very pleasant voice.

Our hotel (Maui Coast) shuttle took us to the hotel early (at our request) so that we could tour the grounds of the Marriott Hotel, which is where the luau takes place. We enjoyed just walking and seeing their grounds. The luau was easy to find, with lots of signs pointing the way. It cost us $110/person. When we entered,... More

This was the first luau for my family and I. We had VIP seats at one of the front tables and since the cost was only slightly higher, we felt it was well worth it for us. The seats were great and the show was very nice. My 71 year old mom enjoyed the show the most. For me, the... More
