service was great at this luau, the show, the location, the venue...we enjoyed it all. I definitely don't see this being a 3 star luau, that's ridiculous. My kids, 8 and 12, really enjoyed it, as did my husband and I. Well worth it.

Our first luau but we thought the food was very good. Varied and lots of everything. They even pulled the roasted pig from the fire pit so you could get photos and see it whole. Drinks were so so. The musician/singers were excellent as were the dancers. Couple that were with us have been to a few luaus and thought... More

This was our third Luau in Maui. The entertainment was great! Unfortunately the food was not as good. The Kahlua Pork was so salty it was barely edible and the drinks were horrible. They offer professional photos for $20/print...kind of pricey and definitely photo-shopped, but I considered that a plus. ;-) We all enjoyed the evening but if we ever... More

Each Luau tells a different story about the island's folklore and beliefs dating back centuries. This one is about the Oceans and how they came to being.. The dancers depict the Goddess of the Sea and the male dancers the suitors. Who wouldn't want to marry this lovely lady in her grass skirt and flowers? There is a fantastic fire... More

We attended this luau at the Wailea Marriott for New Year's Eve 2015 and we had a lovely evening. We've been to other luaus and this one was about as high quality as they get. Lovely location, good food, professional show.

When you arrive, don’t expect a leai. Instead, everyone received a necklace. It is disappointing, but at least it will last - you can take it home. Hint #1: It is first-come first-served on seating, so get there early if you want to sit facing the stage. We got there exactly at 5:30 (when it opened) and most good seats... More

As the sun sets we had pictures taken, the perfect reminder of a fabulous vacation. We paid extra to get front row, I'm not sure we needed to though. It seemed the stage was well viewed by all guests. The host had a beautiful voice and led us through the event. The pig was paraded through the crowd and was... More

We've been to many luaus and this one is "average". The setting is nice - right in front of the ocean, on the property of the Marriott in Wailea. They do this show 4 times a week and they have it down to a science. I have to say that they are very organized and can manage a large crowd... More

Te Au Moana Luau took place at the Weilea Marriott Resort. Great location right on the Weilea beach. We all enjoyed the beautiful a sunset. The buffet dinner was disappointing. We should have checked out the menu more carefully. For USD 105 per person, we expected the menu should have some seafood like poke, mahi mahi or salmon ... but... More

The view overlooking the ocean at sunset is beautiful. the drinks and food were surprisingly good. it's hard to get the food right at such a huge buffet, but somehow they managed it - no long waits on line, and the food was fresh and tasty and not bland. the show was a lot of fun, and the commentary was...
