My husband and I are not great golfers so this review is from someone who just enjoys the game for fun. Course is well maintained and has some great ocean views.

The Old Blue Course is the midst of a major overhaul. The conditions were not great and several holes were partially closed. The driving range was really suspect and consisted of a bunch of cages that you could hit balls off of mats prior to playing.

I recently vacationed in Hawaii and had made arrangements to play at several courses including the Wailea Blue course. I had played there in the past and wanted to return. When we arrived we found that there was extensive construction and some rerouting on a number of holes. I had no problem with the changes but was very disappointed that... More

For 14+ years a group of us have made Hawaii a routine destination for our golf trips. It is something we look forward to each November. Over the years we have been to all the islands but seem to return to Maui the most often. It offers a tremendous variety of golf courses and options for accomodations. Due to drier... More

I got the following information on Wailea Old Blue course. By the end of 2014; 1. The Proshop/Clubhouse will be moved to the place near the end of Wailea Ike Dr. (near the front gate of Shops at Wailea). 2. The current #6 hole will be the new #1, and the current #15 hole of Par 4 will be the... More

If you are an average golfer (like myself) and looking for a fun course on the island that won't cause you to declare banrupcy then this is the course. Had a great day playing 18 with my husband. Course is known for being female friendly and it is true. The hubs enjoyed it as well. Never felt intimated to play... More

The Old Wailea Blue golf course is getting a new name (Wailea Blue) and, more troubling to me, is losing some "yardage" to construction. One par 4 will be remade permanently into a par 3, while another par 4 which is temporarily being played as a par 3 will revert to a par 4. Not sure what they are building... More

Shot a 78 on the old blue from the backs. You will enjoy the old charm of the wide fairways. Friendly staff at the club house. The 15th hole was under construction, which they turned into a par 3.
