The Old Wailea Blue golf course is getting a new name (Wailea Blue) and, more troubling to me, is losing some "yardage" to construction. One par 4 will be remade permanently into a par 3, while another par 4 which is temporarily being played as a par 3 will revert to a par 4. Not sure what they are building... More

Shot a 78 on the old blue from the backs. You will enjoy the old charm of the wide fairways. Friendly staff at the club house. The 15th hole was under construction, which they turned into a par 3.

Course was in good shape, greens were fast. We always enjoy the view and the Maui landscape. Unfortunately there is again major construction going on, since the move of the club house. Too bad, we loved the former quiet old blue course. We wish once in a while the Marshall would do his round to keep up the paste, but... More

Chose the Blue Course because it was closest to Makena Resort, but loved the round. First 9 was a bit of a struggle into an afternoon strong sea breeze for a 4 over 40. Turned the corner and tail wind yielded 4 birdies and a 2 under par back 9. Great views, greens ran very true & not too quick.... More

This course is not as fancy or difficult as the Gold or Emerald, but it is a true value, especially if you buy the 2 or 3 round packages. Course is well maintained - I would say around a 7 versus the other area courses which I would say are 9's.

Super fun playing here. You will not be sorry. Great big course, with fantastic views. Not expensive and not crowded. I played other places but I came back here the most.

My husband and I have played 2 rounds in less than 4 days! We are both beginners (me more so than he). Old Blue is really beautiful: mature trees and foliage, Plumeria everywhere, birds, Mongoose and ocean views! Not to mention...friendly and helpful staff. :-) As a beginner, the course was challenging yet FUN! They offer well maintained golf carts... More

You really feel that you are in Hawaii when you play this course. Lots of challenge, yet wide fairways. Great vistas and the challenge of Bermuda grass. Not too much sand . A must play. The 19 th hole at Mulligans is lots of fun as well.

the rate for locals is great. service is wonderful. they treat you like kings. not like oahu where locals are kicked to the curb to wait on the japanese tourist. locals rule on neighbor islands!!! Waikiki needs to treat loacsl with more respect.
