Loved this beach! It has visitors who prefer nudity but its okay to wear your suit. We took a couple snorkels here, one for an hour, half of which was spent in the company of a monk seal and 3 - 5 turtles. GORGEOUS and MAGICAL! The seal seemed to hang out with us almost like a lookout, she stayed... More

Very pretty little beach, two sides to it. What I mean is the beach access next to the parking lot is a little bit larger than the other section. Either side is beautiful and relaxing. The two sides are divided by an easy low path over some black rock. Pick a side, and have a great time. Snorkeling, boogie boards,... More

We had the most beautiful wedding ever on this beach! It will forever hold a special place in our hearts! We thank our amazing wedding planner, Arabelle of ancienthawaiianweddings.com, for sharing this beach with us. It is one of the best beaches to be married on in Maui. Perfect palm trees, white sand, some lava rock, brilliant blue water...and very... More

We renewed our vows on this beach. It offered beautiful photo opportunities. The sand is perfect and there is just the right amount of greenery and lava rocks.

Pack your beach chairs and a picnic and stay the day. The snorkelling here is very good and the water is perfect for swimming.

This is the beach for you if you are interested in "living the dream"...hot, hot sand, clear green-blue water, turtles casually swimming by, great boogie boarding/paddle surfing -especially in the summer, a nice mix of locals and vacationers casually interacting, children building castles (but not too many kids!). For those visiting in July & August, as we do- morning is... More

It is a bit odd to review a beach, particularly in Maui since all beaches are stunning (minus one which was littered thanks to resort users). ALL of the beaches of South Maui should be explored. However, I hold this one in the highest regards since a short snorkel off the coast led me to see my first sea turtle.... More

At times on weekends, a couple of groups tended to "party" a little hard! But there is still plenty of room for all.

We were married on the north end of this mostly locals beach at sunset. It wasn't crowded, and we had that part of the beach to ourselves. The lava rock and greenery in the background made for gorgeous pictures and a beautiful video!!

A secluded, scenic beach. We got married at the end with the black rocks at the water's edge. Other beach visitors were very respectful of our little beach ceremony. I would definitely choose that beach again if I had to do it over again. Also, a beautiful and quiet place to relax.
