Amazing experience on the beach! I admit that I was super nervous about riding as I've never been on a horse before. They selected a gentle horse for me and gave me some commands. The guides were awesome in making sure I was comfortable during the ride. I was nervous for no reason-the horses are well-trained and know and follow... More

My family and their friends came very happy until one of the owners said that there were four members and there were really 3. They said that you can cancel because its part of the policy and I found that unjust. At least the owner called Greg could said read the policy on our website and he didn't how were... More

The ride is almost 2 hours and it takes you through a small forest, sand-dunes, and beach sections and ends in a deserted beach with tall cliffs like a scene from the original Planet of the Apes. The views and beaches are beautiful. Michelle and Craig Barker and their staff at Tropical are very conscious of the environment and conduct... More

If you've dreamed of riding a horse on the beach then this is a great opportunity. it's $50/person and is about a 1.5 hour ride through the forest and along the beach. They didn't let us gallop our horses so if you're a seasoned rider you may find it all a bit boring but otherwise it was pretty cool. The... More

Extremely helpful staff, well maintained grounds/animals, and amazing scenery. They cater to all levels of experience and truly make your tour care free and enjoyable. The staff set up everything for the ride, tell you your horses name, and assist you on and off of your horse. The ride begins with a quick pass through a neighborhood and into the... More

Of all the activities we did in PR all week, our ride with Tropical Trails was the most perfect. To be honest, I was sort of hoping to get an extremely docile horse that I wouldn't have to steer too much, but I actually got one that had a mind of his own and loved nothing better than to run... My wife and I and our two kids (both 8) did this during our vacation in Puerto Rico. My wife and kids had no experience with horses and mine has been very limited. That did not matter. We were given basic commands for the horses before we left. However, we rarely had to give the horses any commands because they... More

Amazing experience that you should not pass up. Horseback riding through the forests and right on the beach. Takes you through forests and beaches you wouldn't other wise go to. I'm a beginner and had no problem at all, horses are all very friendly and well-behaved; mostly just follow each other in a line and you barely have to do... More

How can you pass up horseback riding on the beach? For two hours you see some of the most beautiful sites atop a well trained horse. When you stop midway to play in the sand and surf, make sure to feed your horse an almond and take in all the scenery. For $50/person, this is a steal and a memory... More

This was an outstanding experience. The guide was great, the horses and equipment were exceptional, and I'm at a loss for words as to how great the terrain and views were. An essential experience when visiting PR.
