I came to Tropical Trail Rides on March 4, 2015 with my mother-in-law and we had such an amazing horseback ride! Our guide was Albert and he was very knowledgeable and had an overall great attitude. The beaches were breathtaking and it was so beautiful riding through the almond forest. The horse I rode was named Tango and my mother-in-law... More

We had our trail ride on 4/6/15. We were originally set up for the morning ride so we could enjoy the rest our last full day in PR, but on our way we were rear ended on the highway. We called and were offered to change to an evening ride. We thought about cancelling but decided to go ahead with... More

I have been on trail rides all over the country and this is one of the best experiences I have ever had! The horses were awesome and the views were beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Puerto Rico- it's a must! We liked it so much we went back twice!

I have been on many horseback rides at various destinations and this was by far my favorite. The staff was extremely friendly, the horses were well taken care of, and the scenery was amazing. At the half way point of the ride the guides stop the group and allow everyone time to get off their horses and spend time on... More

My boys ages 8 and 11 love to horseback ride during spring break. Normally on vacation excursions especially in the morning you expect personable, professional staff. Considering we drove 2 hours and guess what we are on vacation.... We are partially at fault (no reservations) but we did call in route and the woman told me yet again if I... More

We require reservations with a credit card to guarantee your space since we have a limited number of horses and we call our guides in according to the amount of guests. Most guests drive 1-4 hours round trip to ride with us and they want to be guaranteed space when they arrive. At 7:30am this group called and said they... More

I came to Tropical Trail Rides with my sisters and friends. The place is beautiful and the horses are well taken care of but we didn't have a great experience on the ride. First- this is a trail ride where you have to always stay behind the horse in front of you. In my case this was super frustrating because... More

Thank you for letting us know your concerns. Over the years, we've found that riding the horses in a single file is the best way to keep everyone safe. If you come with a group, we try to keep you together in the line up if possible, especially if you ask us. We ride twice a day at 9am and... More

This was my daughters 9th birthday surprise and it was completely amazing. Our guide was friendly and kind and the horses were beautiful and well cared for. I will definitely be back again. They were also flexible and friendly as I had to change my reservation. Well worth the price.

We were nearby as we had gone to a beach close by. we liked it because we found that this trail ride took you onto the beach and through the forest. We were not disappointed, The scenery was incredible! The guide, the horses and the facility were all top notch. We loved it and would certainly ride with them again.... More

I can't say that it was a bad horsey ride but most are a little better, with all my other horse rentals you at least got to gallop a little bit on the beach. Here you got to canter or trot the animal for a short bit but that was pretty much it...and it's not like thet were cheap it... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. Let me try to explain how we operate. Most of our rides we do walking and trotting. If everyone in the group is experienced, then we can do some cantering as well. If you want to be guaranteed to canter, then we suggest you opt for a private ride which... More

I did this trail March 2015, our tour guide was a young girl she did an amazing job and made you feel very welcomed. The older lady can't remember her name.. Im guessing she is the one who owns it was very unwelcoming... it was a friend and I who did it and she made us feel unwanted and just... More
