Well let me tell you, when we arrived there were employees in the parking lot directing traffic and engaging people as they walked into the resort. This made for a fun atmosphere right from the start. We quickly got our lift tickets and then booked my daughter of 4 and son who is 8 into a 2 person private lesson.... More

We visited Calabogie as part of a "stay and ski" package that left us with a great combined rate on a hotel room and lift tickets. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful - as we have found to be the case in our previous visits over the last few years. Now back to the skiing... As one enters the... More

We booked a 2-bdrm unit for our party of 4 for the Class Axe Blues night. We wanted to arrive a bit early & take advantage of the facilities (pool etc.) but were told no early check-in -check-in was at 4, even if room had been vacant nite before. Was not impressed with this attitude. Better places have been more... More

We stayed for 1 night on 30th October. The man at the desk seemed quite clueless and wasn't terribly welcoming. Sounds like a small detail but I had to ask him to repeat himself 3 times because he spoke so fast (as a foreigner- English- sometimes i struggle with accents...not often though) We went up to our room and the... Stayed for two days and one night (September 30th - October 1st, 2014). When we arrived it was literally freezing. We were with a large group and many were complaining about how cold it was. We turned up our thermostat only to have our room grow even colder. When we spoke to the front desk we were told the heat... More

Booked a one week stay for March break Skiing. Not only did they have tonnes of snow but a great variety of terrain that six of us could not cover in just one week. Took a break from Skiing one afternoon to do some ice fishing and the front desk took care of the whole thing. Excellent dining at Cant... More

We needed to get out of the city for a few days and a friend suggested Calabogie Peaks. It was exactly what we were looking for! The hotel and restaurant were amazing. The food was delicious! We enjoyed our time on the beach front with swimming and paddle boating. Lots of activities. I highly recommend this resort for family getaways.... More

Have been to Calabogie Peaks several times with my wife and two children. The mountain has excellent varied terrain for skiers and boarders. Terrain park keeps the kids busy. Cool inner tube runs allow for side by side tubing. Hotel rooms and condos are modern and clean. Good food options at the restaurant in the hotel, the cafeteria in the... More

I was very surprised when I first got to Calabogie Peaks for their Blues & Ribfest and saw the beauty of this resort. The fresh country breeze and lake front beach was just one of the things that had me feeling relaxed like there was not a worry in the world. The first time I went I stayed in the... More
