I was recently at Calabogie Peaks competing in the FSO Timber Tour. After my training for the competition that would take place the following day, I decided to take a run from the top of the "Lakeview Quad". It seemed to have a long section at the top of the lift where you weren't gaining many verties but were going... More

Calabogie Peaks Resort Calabogie, ON Jamiepaulwoodward, thank you for your note. The Timber Tour is always an exciting event to watch and the level of competition did not disappoint the gallery. I'm glad that you had a chance to experience other parts of the mountain while you were on site. Calabogie Peaks is the tallest mountain resort in Ontario and... More

I arrived at Calabogie Jan 1st. I have decided on Calabogie because it was advertising 20 dollar lift tickets. I drove 2hours in pretty bad weather to go skiing. On our arrival the customer service attendant told us that the tickets were actually 20% off and that we must have read it wrong. Positive that we had not the lady... More

I had a great time skiing (it's always nice to hit up the slopes). a friend and I went skiing on January 1st since Calabogie Peaks had advertised $20 lift tickets on their website. When we got there, they claimed that there never was such a deal and that we were mistaken. We were excited to ski, and had a... More

We arrived at Calabogie Peaks for a day of family skiing on December 30th. In deciding where to ski the evening before we had contacted a number of ski resorts in the Ottawa area. Although Mont Ste Marie was offering 30% off we decided to ski at Calabogie as the resort had replied to our text the evening of December... More

Lacey and I headed out for a weekend get-away, to Calabogie Peaks - mainly because it appeared like good value (two nights for the price of one). The staff were very nice people, and the location is nice - a long enough drive from Ottawa, to feel like a get-away, but not so far it is tiring. The facilities are... More

Thank you for your note and comments about the resort. Our capital improvement plan is moving forward seasonally and our plans do include these issues in the near future. We have many different rooms and condos on the property and hope that at some point you will join us again. Liz Murphy More

Highly recommend this resort for a group getaway with friends or family. Experienced the beautiful fall colours while hiking and golfing and enjoyed wonderful meals in the dining area (ask about the daily selection of homemade desserts). The atmosphere is warm and relaxed and the staff are friendly and attentive. Well worth the drive from the Toronto area!

Calabogie Peaks Resort Calabogie, Ontario Marylouise, we are so happy that you had a wonderful stay recently at The Calabogie Peaks Hotel and that hiking the trails and golf was among the activities that you enjoyed. I had contacted the peaks for a ski trip for our end of year party for our hockey team. When we arrived by bus. There were 25 teenagers and 3 adults. The ski passes were already for us and rentals for the kids that needed them. We will definitely be back again this year.

Calabogie Peaks Resort Calabogie, Ontario Hi Harry, We look forward to your hockey team returning to The Peaks this winter. It's great that your kids trade in their skates for snowboards and skis for a fun day on the mountain. If its cold enough and our pond is frozen, bring along your skates for some old fashioned skating out back... More

Best kept secret around! This ski hill has super long runs (long for Ontario- at 2km long). There are only 2 chair lifts but that's all that is needed as there were never more than a handful of people in front of us. Runs are lovely with many that cross over each other to give a few options for going... More

The instructors were really nice such as Chris Frank and much more. The condos were so nice so nice to sleep in. When i went down the hills at other places my ski would keep getting stuck on the layers of snow. The food was amazing and they have snow shoeing too. :)
