It was a quick detour on our north bound drive. While outside, I saw big salmon trying to jump up the falls. When I got the camera out & ready, didn't catch anymore sight of them... The falls is very scenic and the covered salmon ladder is to prevent predators. There is a very nice boardwalk of slightly more than... More

The manager provided an excellent overview of the area's salmon population and the successful efforts to reintroduce salmon to the river. Displays are interesting and informative.

Very interesting to see. When we went in, a lady gave us a brief history. We walked around and then they took us downstairs to an underground glass thing and you can see the salmon resting! Really neat to see, really big salmon!
