I havw been there with my girlfriend and it was wonderful! The view is beautiful and the place is well organized - parking, toilets, restaurants and free entrance. You can spend there about two hours if you will make a small picnic, take a walk threw the dardens and see the movies about the history of Ramat Hanadiv. If you... More

These gardens just outside Zichron Yaakov in memory of Baron Rothschild are free, and are a lovely place to stroll around, with good views down to the Mediterranean just below. The graves of Baron Edmond and his wife are beautifully designed and placed in the center of the gardens. Well worth an hour's visit.

We stopped by too late for the museum, but the visit to the gardens and Rothschild tomb was epic. The land is owned by the Rothschilds, but open to the public. The term "HaNadiv" means "The Benefactor" - they did not want their name used. Lush, beautiful manicured gardens, including a texture/smell garden for the blind; meandering paths. Perfect place... Beautiful, peaceful, clean and free..by far the best attraction Zichron has to offer! There is something for everyone - wee ones can run about, slightly older kids can make rubbings of the various plants' leaves and names, everyone can enjoy the well tended, lovely scented gardens. Next time I'll come with a picnic and stay longer. if you'd like there... More
