There is no other museum dedicated to this tragedy. Over 200 people died in the Rhythm Fire yet almost nothing is published about it. This is a sad mistake frankly as the cause of so much loss of life here might have been used to save lives at other similar fires. We enjoyed our visit. Mr. Monroe Sago greeted us... More

We accidentally found the Rhythm Night Club Memorial Museum because we pulled in to look at our map, not realising it was a Museum. The owner came out and helped us with our directions. He also kindly invited us inside to see the museum after telling us a bit about what was inside (night club fire that killed 200+ people).... More

I recently visited this so called museum and it was almost a complete waste of my money. I had been told that they accepted donations but the man in charge, Monroe, said $8.50 for adults and $4.50 for kids. The whole museum isn't even as large as my living room. We stopped here for an extremely informative tour given by Mr. Sago who is very knowledgeable about the great fire. It is chilling to listen to stories of all people who suffered so long ago. The museum is located on the original spot where the Rhythm Night Club existed, lending a real connection to the history it is portraying. Thank... More

We stopped by and received the most informative tour! Mr. Sago is so very knowledgeable about the great fire. I got chills listening to stories of all people who suffered so long ago. Mrs.Sago and Mr. Sago together wrote a book which we were lucky to purchase. Thank you wonderful people for preserving history that has much a huge difference... More

This museum tells the compelling story of the fire at the nightclub where hundreds of people lost their lives. There are a lot of newspaper accounts and images, but the best feature of the museum is that it sits on the exact spot of the fire and Mr. Sago who gables us a personal tour with all the back stories....
