I love visiting national cemeteries. It makes me proud to be an American and thankful for those who serve our country.

I was so moved when I saw all the tombstones of Unknown Confederate Soldiers in the Natchez National Cemetery. I had seen a documentary about how many soldiers were left where they fell because there was not the capability to bury so many dead at that time. I assume these are some of those soldiers that have been found and... More

If you like on cemeteries this one was kind of unique old interesting layout well-kept . Don't think of it as a New Orleans type cemetery that part of Natchez is extremely high there is no aboveground Crips

My husband and I have visited this cemetery at least three times and I have taken my sister-in-law as well. I find the history fascinating. There is a section specifically dedicated to the CDA (Confederate States of America) where lie many unknown soldiers. There are also many graves that are very old. I found it intriguing that they sometimes put... More

1st 5 star rating that I have given.......Confederate Soldiers solemnly buried with respect. This is a don't miss. No matter how many times we go we always find something "NEW" . MY husbands family is buried here and it still amazes both of us how great the ground are kept.

We loved visiting the cemetery. It was huge and filled with beautiful monuments. There was an audio driving tour which we never had a chance to take, but I wish that we could have. We did pick up a brochure at the office, which had a list of some of the more interesting graves, but the numbers on the brochure... More

The history behind this cemetery was amazing. Normally I don't stroll through a cemetery for a good time, but the old part of the cemetery had some of the more beautiful stones and fences. It's definitely worth stopping by!

very beautiful cemetery. Lots of old tombstones. Many hills so you will get a good workout. Do not miss this. Many of the tombstone markers are works of art. Plenty of angels for pics. Do not miss this!

Went to this cemetery for the first time, while in Natchez this month. Very interesting tales, nice area and the grounds are kept very nicely!

I like old cemeteries. This one was a mixture of old and new. If you drive to the back the sites are late 1800's to early 1900's.
