Joe Stone played 4 entirely different classical selections and provided background for each. The evening started with a wonderfully chilled Reisling, a wine selection agreed upon by those attending. The music room setting was beautifully intimate. The environment was perfect. Joe is a great story teller and a wonderful musician.

We enjoyed the concert that was included in the bed and breakfast. I would recommend anyone in the area or staying at the house to attend the concert. Mr. Stone plays a nice selection of classical music with each piece being very different. He did a nice job of giving the history and explaining each piece.

What a treat!!! Joe picked four totally different pieces of classical music the play to the audience. The four pieces he selected were beautiful. Before each piece, Joe would discuss the piece with the audience and let them know the history behind it. Then ask for a critique and offered his expertise. We were so impressed that he even offered... More

We stayed with Mr. Stone for three nights over the 4th of July weekend. Upon check-in, he informed us that he could do a concert for us and the other guests one afternoon if we wished. We agreed that it would be a great idea and I am very glad that we did. Mr. Stone started by pouring us a... More

I was intrigured by the idea of a piano concert in a historic home while visiting Natchez. Joe Stone played several selections with commentary about each selection which helped us better understand and appreciate the selections. I would, and already have, recommend the concerts. We were doubly blessed that our concert was part of an overnight stay at the Joseph... More

We enjoyed Mr. Stones concert very much. Before each piece he gave us information about the composer and the style of the musical selection. This made it more interesting. Following he concert he told the history of the house and gave us a tour. Since we stayed at his B&B, the concert was included.

Enjoyed an intimate concert in the music room of the Stone House. Mr. Stone greets his guests, serves the wine, then explains the classical works he has chosen for the evening. His explanations are clear and help listeners get the most out of each piece. He chose a variety of pieces and played by memory flawlessly. After the concert, he... More

The concert was a true masterpiece. It was though we had our very own Carnegie Hall worthy performance all to ourselves. A very wonderful and unique experience.

The Stone House is a quite special place to stay. It reflects the owner's, (Joe Stone) eclectic decor of beautiful antiques and myriad interests. Our most gracious host was available for any and all questions and help we needed to enhance our visit. Joe, the owner of Stone House, is an excellent classical pianist. The concert is definitely the best evening activity available in Natchez.
