I had been looking forward to this stop and wasn't disappointed. The owner's son greeted us as soon as we walked in and took us on a quick tour. This is a small family run operation so of course the tour isn't extensive. They are very proud of their wines and rightfully so. I knew nothing of muscadine grapes but... More

We will make a special trip to Natchez just for this wine. The sweet muscadine wines are great. I would definitely recommend if you are traveling through Natchez to make a pit stop at this winery.

We have visited wineries in the southwest, mid west, east coast and south east. We stopped looking for wineries once we found Old South Winery. The Muscadine Wines have a unique taste that really pleases us. They have a fantastic variety of wines - something for anyone. The proprietors are very friendly and make a visit very pleasurable. They have... More

I loved going Old South.. my fiance loved it too.. the founders son gave us a tour and everyone there was very friendly. . It was no pressure to buy anything.. he answered all of our questions and poured us a tasting of everything. . We bought four bottles for her to take back to San Antonio. . And her... More

We were looking forward to this tour, but were sadly disappointed. The tour was given by the founder's daughter. The tour lasted approximately 5 minutes. She snapped at me twice when I asked questions. Then she was rude to my fiancé during the wine tasting. The wine was tasty, but the service horrible. These people should stick to shipping their... The tour is small and not a very big place, but for a family owned place it was great. Very nice and friendly people. It was an enjoyable visit.

We were in Natchez celebrating our 12th year wedding anniversary. The Old South Winery is a great place to go with your love to do wine tasting and touring. It could be great with friends too, no shade intended lol! The pricing is great. The more you buy the more you save. Muscadines are full of antioxidants and the wines... More

Loved this place. The staff was very friendly and informative. I'm not much of a wine drinker but totally loved some of theirs. My husband and I purchased a four pack and hope to share with our son and his girlfriend. The owner recommended a great place to eat for lunch. This is definitely a do..over next time we're in... We were so excited about taking a tour of a winery and to learn the ins and outs of wine making. This place is in a bad part of town so we were skeptical driving up. We went in and was not greeted until we took it upon ourselves to walk a little further toward the back. Asked about the... More
