We were looking forward to this tour, but were sadly disappointed. The tour was given by the founder's daughter. The tour lasted approximately 5 minutes. She snapped at me twice when I asked questions. Then she was rude to my fiancé during the wine tasting. The wine was tasty, but the service horrible. These people should stick to shipping their... The tour is small and not a very big place, but for a family owned place it was great. Very nice and friendly people. It was an enjoyable visit.

We were in Natchez celebrating our 12th year wedding anniversary. The Old South Winery is a great place to go with your love to do wine tasting and touring. It could be great with friends too, no shade intended lol! The pricing is great. The more you buy the more you save. Muscadines are full of antioxidants and the wines... More

Loved this place. The staff was very friendly and informative. I'm not much of a wine drinker but totally loved some of theirs. My husband and I purchased a four pack and hope to share with our son and his girlfriend. The owner recommended a great place to eat for lunch. This is definitely a do..over next time we're in... We were so excited about taking a tour of a winery and to learn the ins and outs of wine making. This place is in a bad part of town so we were skeptical driving up. We went in and was not greeted until we took it upon ourselves to walk a little further toward the back. Asked about the... More

The staff that we dealt with was not very friendly. The wine was typical muscadine wine with no real uniqueness. Thumbs down.

Unfriendly large lady said our taste for wine was incorrect. We never tried Muscadine wine before and were very interested in it. She was despicable. I wouldn't recommend unless you enjoy sarcasm and inhospitable service.

What fun!!! This is a little winery operated by a family that is just as casual as one can get! I have done Napa and spend a lot of time at boutique wineries in the Texas Hill Country (Johnson City/Stonewall/Fredericksburg/Kerrville) but this is something completely different. It ain't fancy. It ain't pricey. It's just good fun. The wines are a... More

This is the best kept secret in Natchez It is had to believe that most that go to Natchez will never hear of this place. We have been going for years. I make my own wine and this is one of the few wines that I buy. If you like muscadine wine this is a must stop. Miss Scarlet is... More

This little sightseeing trip was just an aside to kill a little time til lunch, but turned out to be a very enjoyable experience. We took the short tour & learned a great deal about making wine. We also tasted several & they were wonderful, so we bought a 4 bottle pack, can't wait to open one up now that... More
