Nice cafe at the entrance to the music hall

We enjoyed after-wedding-reception drinks and snacks at this cafe at the entrance to the hall. Service was satisfactory.

The former Sweetwater was a legendary Mill Valley venue with a variety of great live music. It was not unusual to have famous local celebrities sit in and jam. However, the new Sweetwater is quite different. The prices have gone through the roof. Tickets can often run from $40.00 to over $100.00 to sit in this small, cramped club. The cafe... More

This is a nice room. We came for the open mic on Monday night. There were some very talented performers.

Depending on the band this place gets crowded and really hot, which is why it didn't get 5 stars, but the bands were fantastic, and staid after to meet people, the acoustics are incredible, and the bar and restaurant are great. I recommend the sliders or the tacos, and definitely will go back for open mic night Monday.

Hey its owned by Bob Weir...food was better than expected but combined with free music the night we went put it over the top. Decent salads from local places in the summer. Then went right into concert hall.

Great staff, the sound system here is amazing and the food is really good.. the sliders are really good and the mac and cheese. If you want to catch dinner and a great show, check out the local bands and traveling bands that perform here.

If you ever went to the old Sweetwater you know how small that space was, the new Sweetwater is big, spacious and has great food! We had a birthday party celebration there and was able to reserve some tables and we stayed the whole night even though they thought since we were over 60 we would leave early. We loved... More

This place is special, you can get a nice dinner here, the food changes on a regular basis and is well prepared. There is an excellent bar, well stocked, and staffed so you don't have to wait in line forever trying to get a drink. The espresso coffee is also very good is you need a pick up. But the... More

THis has been "new" for about 4 years now but they did such an amazing job converting the Old Sweetwater into this new and fantastic place. Outdoor seating and little cafe/restaurant is totally separate from Music/Event room so can enjoy under all conditions.

We traveled about 4 hrs for Ryan Bingham's show. Arrived 3 hrs early so we could get a good spot for the show. Ended up having some food and drinks while we waited. Ordered a few filet mignon sliders with horseradish and some craft beer and margaritas. The sliders were to die for!! The beer was great and the margaritas... More
