The National Presidential Museum was a great way to spend the afternoon. The staff were friendly and helpful-- and the exhibits were very lifelike! The kids loved the golf course and the shop had a neat arrangement of different gifts and souvenirs. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Black Hills and seeing Mt. Rushmore!!

I've never actually been to a wax museum before this one and this was an excellent foray into the field. The staff here were friendly, very helpful, and easy going, and they explained some of the process for creating the wax figures, which is also neat. The museum itself was full of lots of extremely lifelike but perfectly still figures... More

We enjoyed the displays and the use of a hand held want with a narration on each president. The lady working there was very friendly.

I took my kids here as an educational field trip for our homeschool history class. what a great experience!!! we were greeted by a very knowledgeable and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The fee to enter the museum was well worth the fun that we had! My children and I were each given a digital audio... More

What a great place to stop and enjoy the Presidents in Art Form and to learn about them. We've been to Wax Exhibits in Las Vegas and this is just as good. Worth a visit

My kids loved the wax museum and gift shop. My kids range in age from 16 to 2 and it was fun for the whole family. My 11 year old was in heaven. He loves everything history and was the last one to leave. Definately worth the trip.

Spring break trip to the Black Hills. Our 7 and 8 year olds enjoyed the audio wand tour and gained some basic knowledge of US history. My husband and I got a good review of high school US history. Tour took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The museum and restrooms were spotless and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful.... More

My family visited this museum on opening day for the 14/15 season. We were the first visitors of the year. We were greeted by a very polite and knowledgable staff. I have never been to wax museum, and really didn't know what to expect. I was extremely impressed. The tour includes a digital tour guide that allows you to type... More

The museum and staff were excellent! It was a great experience and we will visit again when we come back to SD. It even kept the attention of 7 and 4 year old boys!

Wax museums are usually a lot of fun. This one is among the best, and my favorite. All of the presidents are displayed, and they look very lifelike....it's like walking among greatness. There are also a number of non-president statues (i.e. Ben Franklin). Very much worth the time and money.
