My 12 year old son and I came to Rushmore Cave for a caving adventure. Our tour guide, Rachel, was very patient with my talkative son and was very knowledgeable about the cave. We had a great experience and learned a lot about how the cave was formed and the rock formations common to the area. I recommend Rushmore Cave... More

My family and I had a nice time touring the cave. I was afraid it was going to be tourist trap based on the excessive number of billboards along the highway. However we were pleasantly surprised with the tour our tour guide Rachel did a super job of describing the history of the cave, the formations etc. the adventure tour... More

We did the cave tour and the 31 MPH zipline as a combo price. The cave tour is cool and the guides will give you some interesting info about the history of the cave, that makes it even better. Be prepared to do a good bit of walking, and there are a few tight spaces to maneuver around. The zipline... More

This is a privately owned facility but still provided good entertainment. The fee for the hour long tour is moderate. The tour guide was nice but not willing to engage in any personal chatter about the caves unlike our experiences at sites run by the park rangers. It was interesting to see after having visited Carlsbad Caverns, Natural Bridge Caverns,... More

This attraction which was three activities at one place was excellent and we really enjoyed each experience. The cave tour was fun and informative. The 7D theatre was a blast and the zipline which had a long line was worth the wait.

Our tour guide was well knowledged with the history and what goes on in the cave. We stayed in back of the group to sort of experience the full adventure of the cave itself.thats... More

The cave was real cool. Our guide was friendly and informative. We got some nice pictures in the cave. If you are in the area and want to see a cave I would suggest checking it out.

Be sure you're in shape if you decide to do the cave. There are 408 stairs and many are fairly steep. The staff and the facilities are top notch. Staff is very professional and courteous, and the facilities are clean and well kept. The cave itself was fairly boring. They move you through at a fairly quick pace, and it... More

My husband and I recently took our two children (ages 7 & 11) to Rushmore Cave. We had a ton of fun! First we did the cave tour, where our young tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. Then we headed outside for the Eagle zipline and the 7D theatre. All were a blast (I LOVED the 7D)! This attraction was... More

As long as you don't mind small spaces and being 1/4 mile under ground Rushmore Cave is a good time for the family. The history of this cave is very interesting and keeps your attention while on your tour. If you are not in good shape or advanced in years I would think twice about taking thus your. There are...
