Choose your time carefully as the castle grounds are closed during the afternnoon !
So have a late lunch and visit after 4.30pm.
Well worth a visit, the views are worth the walk up to the castle.

The ruins of the castle are very picturesque and offer fantastic views. While safe to walk on, the ground was very uneven and trees grow where the rooms once were.
The Museum had an interesting display of images of Denia from a century ago, showing the town before it was developed. Sadly the artifact cases were only labelled in spanish.

do not forget your camera,Because it is so worth it its an allround view at the top,Denia habour when the ferry is in, and of course the Montgo.

The museum is located on a hill, so the views were amazing! The castle is the main attraction of Denia, so it's a must-see! There is also a museum in the castle.
