The perspective on this mural is uncanny and a "must see" in Frederick. We have gone there many times and I am still amazed that the stonework is not real.

This is one of the coolest sights in downtown Frederick. If you miss this, you are missing one of if not THE coolest pieces of public art. Take your time exploring the details of this mural and then I highly recommend hopping into the neighboring Delaplaine Art Gallery which is a fun and free place to hang out and view... More

The trompe l'oeil artwork is absolutely amazing. What a lovely addition to a great location. Check out the Voit restaurant while you are in Frederick.

I love the revamped downtown Frederick. The mural area is a great place for a spring walk when the weather is lovely. Worth a visit.

This is one of several interesting "murals" in Frederick that you have to look twice at to realize they are not real.

The paintings of this mural are very well done, and it is free to see and you can see it anytime, even late at night.

Carroll Creek Linear Park is strollable, both human and animal friendly, and scenic with adjacent ample parking in the city [for pay] lot.

Just wow. You can visit, revisit and revisit again and the murals around Frederick will tickle your fancy. The Community Bridge is an extensive, impressive example of the smaller pieces all around town. Walk through twice just so you catch the nuances. Then come back later and you'll see something else totally new.

Definitely worth a visit as a stand-alone event. Amble along the canal, and spend some time contemplating the beauty of the artist creation around you.

The art work painted on and under the bridge is 3D and changes as you approach it. There is an art museum adjacent with nice exhibits. The bridge crosses Carrol Creek, a nice walking venue.
