The ladies that I had dealings with at the visitor centre, could not have been more helpful. I would definitely recommend visiting, even if only to watch the 14m movie on the history of Frederick.

I recently stopped at the visitors center as I, new to the area. It is a beautiful building and a great amount of varied information. The 'waterfall was amazing'. There is, as you would expect, handouts and information on about any need or interest in Frederick county. I have made plans for many options as I explore my new area.

Lovely center. Plenty to look at, including a short video. Seemed understaffed, must have been close to lunch time. Parking lot was not very accommodating, a sign warned visitors not to spend too long in the few visitor parking spaces. Must not have many spaces for visitors. The gentleman inside very nicely told other visitors not to worry about the... More

The staff at the visitor center were very helpful, provided several restaurant recommendations, gave us info on Civil War sites in the area and provided a bag full of tourist info. Couldn't ask for more from a visitor center.

This all inclusive Visitor Center is a must see if you visit or live in Frederick County. They have a three screen movie that covers history, activities and more in the Frederick and surrounding areas that plays all the time. They provide informational brochures for everything from the Civil War, to shopping, to dining, to wineries, history and travel, both... More

My teenager and I stopped in to pick up a "Downtown Frederick" gift card. We ended up staying for nearly an hour to view the exhibits and watch all of the videos!
