They have a good information on local events and activities. We obtained tickets for touring local houses at Christmas.

I stopped by the Visitor Center more than once on my recent trip to Frederick. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable and the informative presentations offered are great. On the week-ends additional parking is available, but there is sufficient parking at all other times as well. I bought some great souvenirs to bring home and appreciated some helpful suggestions... We decided to visit the Visitor's Center solely based on the recommendation of other reviews. So glad we did! There was free parking for the length of the day as we explored the city. We were given a map that outlined a city walk tour to encompass a little bit of everything. We surely would have missed some good sights... More

The Frederick County Visitor Center is easy to find, right on the fringe of the historic downtown area, and is replete with displays and literature which equip a visitor to spend his, her, or their time efficiently and enjoyably, no matter whether for dining, shopping, or sightseeing. Parking at the center is free, and if one is from out of... More

Desk staff was helpful and pleasant, there was a free film which we didn't take the time to view. Lots of brochures and a very good book(let) about Frederick.

One of the best local visitors center I have ever experienced. The building is an historic structure beautifully repurposed. Tons of informative materials to pick up. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large covered bridge model was very well done. Great orientation video.

We made a trip to North East and persuaded my wife to take a detour via Frederick. The visitor center lady was extremely helpful. She took the right amount of time to explain the walking tour. The visitor center also provides 3 hours free parking in a garage close by. The visitor center was super clean and looked great. The... More

Easy to find right off the interstate highway. It was the perfect place to meet up with a friend who was traveling from the opposite side of the state. Welcoming & helpful staff. Lot's of info available. It appeared that there was some type of guide who was explaining what the different exhibits were, but don't know if he worked... More
