This is an unique for a large city. This walk is great for that early or late day run. Often loaded with events, festivals, fun, always fresh and updated events happening here. If your in town it is worth parking and walking too. The Marc train needs to run on the weekends because you could pack this place and it's... More

Ben and Mrs Too happened across this feature during an overnight stay in Frederick, taken mainly to relieve a case of cabin fever. Frederick is awash in history and culture, with so many things to do, top notch dining, and commodious lodging, that we knew we could easily spend a day or two concentrating on the indoor (read winter) attractions,... You cannot go wrong here. There are so many interesting works of art that will make you stop and stare ... for a long time. It's clean, safe, and inviting. What a wonderful place in the middle of historic downtown. Marvelous.

This park is part of a flood control program started to reclaim the city. All I can say is, wow. Just wow. I don't know who envisioned this, but they are a true artist. The place is breathtaking! It runs through the town itself, but the city has turned it into a functional feature that leads from downtown to Bakers... More

We've enjoyed walking the Carroll Creek Linear Park in Frederick for many years now. The scenery is beautiful -- fountains and flowers and lots of shops and eateries. The mural near the Delaplane Arts Center is a must see for anyone visiting Frederick.

With out this park, Frederick is just another small town with a few streets of shopping. The park allows you to take a nice break from the shopping and stroll for a while. The art work and plantings make for an interesting time.

The Creek Project was the brainstorm of one of the best Mayor's ever in Frederick MD, the Honorable Ron Young. The project has brought in new business and culture to this historic Civil War City. It is the light to a new Frederick in the future.

Stroll along by the creek side, with water scenes out of Monet. Dining is available, or turn off to Market St for restaurants.
