At the south end of Market Street, we enjoy red this pleasantly landscaped waterside walk. Bring some food for the giant carp who swim beside the bridge. Beware there is not much to find in the old town south of here.

Had dinner in Downtown Frederick then stopped@ the canal to pass time. Very peaceful and loved watching the fish. Its all free to sit on the benches & enjoy the fresh air.

This area is great for a stroll after doing some shopping. Either work off some of the food you enjoyed or work up an appetite as you take in this artistic stretch of the canal that offers something new and exciting every few feet.

This was a very attractive walkway and gathering spot for all ages and types along an historic creek in a city full of history. On a clear, warm, late summer Sunday morning it was just the place to be. Very enjoyable.

Reminds me of the beautiful Riverwalk Park in Greenville, SC, but on a much smaller scale. We enjoyed walking along the creek watching ducks and the goldfish among the arranged plants. We discovered that Frederick is a very dog friendly city, we will bring fido next time. Enjoyable visit.

This park runs along a contained creek, with several fountains, a colorful bridge, ducks, water plants, and brick sidewalks. It is lined with restaurants, many with outdoor seating, and tonight there was even a young girl playing classical violin music, reminiscent of European square. It is peaceful to wander along the water, especially after dinner. Parking is easy, as there... More

This is quite a contrast the historic area of Frederick but well worth a visit. There are fine examples of Tromp l'oeil around the city but take a stroll along the water and admire the lilies and the art work, it is truly exceptional. Of course the bridge is marvelous. There was some construction in the area and it looks... More

A very nice walk along a canal. Well designed for an enjoyable view of art, scenery, shops, fish, and the lotus were blooming (of course, this is seasonal).
