My wife and I had a really fun time. The food was great and plentiful. We learned so many new things about an area we have lived in for years.

Easy blend of history, exercise and good food. Even in the cold winter temps, I spent a lovely afternoon with friends on the Taste Frederick tour. Even though we have lived here a decade, (or more) we all learned a few new facts. Tour was a great pace, with plenty of time to chat and catch up with friends and... More

My son arranged this tour as a Christmas present for his two grandmothers and me, his mother. It was a fun way to spend quality time together as a family. We learned the local history about the area while enjoying delicious food and drinks from several restaurants. I highly recommend the tour. Sarah provided dietary accomodations and adjusted the walking... More

My husband and I went last fall and had a great time. It's casual, friendly, the guide was very informative and the places were stopped were wonderful. We've lived here for 14 years, but still learned a lot of new things.

This was a very interesting three hours which included a wide variety of stops including seafood, pizza, sandwiches, beer, wine and soda pop. It ended at a gourmet chocolate shop. Also included was a tour of historic Frederick and the canal walk. The leader was informative and well versed in the lore and delights of Frederick. It was also a... More

We are staying relatively close to Frederick and thought this would be a good introduction to the area. It was a great one. Jackie, our tour guide, was not only warm and welcoming, but supremely knowledgeable and entertaining. I loved walking through the neighborhoods and learning historical and architectural details. There's much more to Frederick than meets the eye at... More

Today I learned two very interesting things. First, there is fascinating history to be shared in Frederick. AND, there is a diverse culinary community to support the growing interest in this evolving city. Jackie, our guide, was very knowledgable in the developing food culture, the historical background as well as the architecture and art of the city. Locally brewed beer,decadent... More

My wife and I had the good fortune to have the business owner (Sarah) as our tour guide. She made the day especialy interesting and we had an opportunity to learn more about Frederick in one 3-hr. period than we have by visiting our son & his family in Frederick for the past 12 years. We would recommend this tour... More

Like a date night with your spouse, the Taste Frederick tour is a wonderful way to be reminded of what a fun city you live in! A diverse selection of restaurants offer small bites of specialties you might not normally try, like the fabulous beet salad at the Wine Kitchen, and the Blueberry Birch Beer at the Pop Shoppe! Sarah,... More

This is a great way to spend time in Frederick, getting to know the city and its food. Our tour guide, Jessica, was very knowledgable and had lots of fun facts about her town to share. The food was very good and so was the wine and beer. Please don't let reviews like Patricia L's dissuade you from trying this... More
